I'd not go overboard on him until he's proven himself in the EPL.
Having managed him for the last few years Mourinho knew he was for sale and at an apparently knock-down price but still wasn't interested - and Mourinho's after a striker apparently...and apart from Juve (who've opted for Tevez by all accounts) nobody else around europe seemed interested either
His record is good but his stock is not as high as you'd expect for someone who's that prolific - especially amongst the Madridista. Something seems adrift.

You really are some kind of prophet of doom and dementor mutation. Away back with your negative vibe to your Spuds thread and leave us to get excited at the prospect of possibly signing a quality player for the first time in a long time. I don't doubt that if the rumour was for him to sign for Spuds then you'd be throwing stats about left, right and centre about his assists, goals per games played, goals per minutes played, average sprint distance and speed, and kisses blown to the girl that sits in row C seat 47 whilst warming up during the games so that he couldn't possibly fail.
Go on, beat it!

...and selective quoting there Paul address the points, not your dreams of what I'd be doing if Spurs were in for him.
Paulinho is likewise unwise unproven and I'm not going overboard about him...indeed he's played for 2 european clubs already IIRC and ended up back in Brazil.

I learnt selective quoting watching you and your crew banter with those from the thread of shame et al. im said:

I learnt selective quoting watching you and your crew banter with those from the thread of shame et al. Sky Sports reported has said Fellaini's release clause has been activated http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedd... hopefully it's true.

If he wanted to play for Mourinho again from what the press say he'd be the only RM player that does.Having managed him for the last few years Mourinho knew he was for sale and at an apparently knock-down price but still wasn't interested - and Mourinho's after a striker apparently...and apart from Juve (who've opted for Tevez by all accounts) nobody else around europe seemed interested either

When it comes to nobody else being interested it's perhaps a question of who can afford the fee and wages, give him CL football playing in a major league and also be the first choice striker.
It's not a long list....

Utd, Chelsea & City could afford him no problems,so could Monaco, PSG& a couple of russian sides too. When it comes to nobody else being interested it's perhaps a question of who can afford the fee and wages, give him CL football playing in a major league and also be the first choice striker.

I'm a little surprised you seem to be the only runners too,
