That is incredible. 'Only' 17,000 of you showed up for our Valentines Day date - which is still double our highest ever crowd (Newcastle, FA Cup '98).

Puts things into perspective for us. We're punching so far above our weight.

Should this be renamed 'The League One Thread'?

Congratulations to Wednesday.

My prediction was nearly correct. We got one point instead of my predicted zero.

My prediction for the playoffs;

Stevenage beat United
MKDs beat Huddersfield

MKDs beat Stevenage and go up.

Boo. I see James Beatie has gone and done us a favour by getting himself sent off? He changed the game last weekend.

Stunned we've made the playoffs given the length of our cup run and losing our manager mid season. Genuinely don't see why we can't do it now.

I'm inclined to agree with your prediction.

Though fate for me would see Huddersfield and Utd making the final and Huddersfield taking (FiL follows Huddersfield).

The one thing I *can* readily see is Utd not going up.

Congrats to Stevenage to get this far saw us lose to them yesterday they look v organised and they have a good spirit in the team. Who will get promoted? Tbh it's difficult to predict. These play off games are all on the day. Look at Huddersfield they have done nothing since Clark left and the Blades have gone off the boil even MKD lost at home yesterday. Stevenage are in the best form so it's still wide open in my view.

^ What he said ^. Fantastic Day yes

Just relieved more than anything - didn't even dream to be in this position until 8 days ago. Whatever happened to that 8 point gap and game in hand just went....

But congrats anyway to Blades on making the playoffs - magnificent achievement for such a small club hehe

Ahhhhh tha nose! We're all Wednesday aren't we.......

To be honest I hope Utd come up too, I don't get to many games but always try to go to the derbys.

My take on this as an Owls fan is that whoever finished on 90 or more points deserved to go up. Blades deserve to go up & I would much rather play them next year than Stevenage, Udders Feeled or the MK Donkeys...

I'm honest enough to admit the loss of Evans worked in Wednesdays favour & affected them...we'll never know if they would have picked up more points had he not been in the chokey....

I don't subscribe to theory that they are a one man team....if they don't go up via the playsoffs then there is not a lot wrong with that team - if they can keep that team together next season & find a suitable striker to replace Evans then I would expect them to take automatic promotion.

You miss my point. We are an inner city club, you are out in the suburbs biggrin
