Rangers were poor but their keeper kept them in it but to be honest it could have been a bigger thrashing than last time!

Only 1-0 but the battering they gave rangers was much more than the scorse suggests!

The gulf in class is massive and Rodgers is going to strengthen in the Jan window!

Man of the match the rangers goalie !
Craig Thomson got the mom for me, that man should not referee another Glasgow derby again. For warburton to suggest his team have narrowed the gap is absurd, there's a million miles between the 2 sides on and off the park.

He got the chopped off goal completely wrong. There was nothing wrong with that all.

He didn't much else that wrong in my opinion.

The gulf is huge. Anyone who says otherwise is in complete denial.

In 4 games now, one with 30 mins extra time, Rangers have managed a grand total of 8 shots on target and have rarely ever looked like scoring.

"There was a vast improvement from the last game," he said, comparing it to September's 5-1 defeat at Celtic Park. "We had chances to go on and win it, it was quite an even game.

"We got the ball down, played our game and I think at times they struggled when we got the ball down and passed it. It was maybe because of our own problems, we were sloppy in the first half, that gave them a bit of confidence.

"I don't think the gap is as big as what people might think, we were more than a match for them today.

"If we'd maybe taken some of the big chances that we did have it was obviously going to be a totally different game.

"We would have taken confidence from that and pushed for more but unfortunately it wasn't our day."

Big game tonight. Hopefully we put in a better performance than our home effort against the Germans.

On a positive note

Celtic now guaranteed at least €28.8m in Champions League revenue

Could have, and possibly should have, nicked the win there.

A damn good showing though away from home.

Far better performance there. Still work to do. We won't get out of the group but the money will come in handy.

500k for the point. That's Dembele paid for. smile

Thanks to Brexit works out an extra £5m in the kitty

Will be handy for the new 200 seater 4* hotel that's in the pipeline

Moussa Dembele, what's his current worth chaps? Bagged 2 belters against England 21's tonight, still raw but this lads a talent, I reckon £20 mill and with a few champions league games to go that figure could rise..

A bit like the lack of action on this thread, the 100th cup win at the weekend is all a bit whatever.

I'm still barely over the fact that this bunch got beaten by Lincoln Red Imps

Is there any coverage of the game tonight?

Not a lot on tv, so a spot of watching the hoops would be good.

Celtic made that much harder than it should have been. The first half hour they didn't even bother trying. Rangers looked much better than I've seen them and McKay looks an exciting player.

After the equaliser there was only one winner. I've no idea how Celtic only scored 2. Some really bad misses and Foderingham made lots of good saves.

It was a good game to watch.
