It is illustrative of the amount of money sloshing around in the EPL when posters in the Everton thread are asking who Paterson is, when they’re about to drop 12million plus add ons on him. Mad money, but wouldn’t it be ironic is Tavernier’s hamstring went…
Maybe now they can pay Liverpool for Kent?

I'm surprised to read that Derek McInnes is going to be the Kilmarnock manager. I didn't think his stock had fallen that low after leaving Aberdeen. I thought he'd get a job in the premiership or English championship.

5 points behind Arbroath with a game in hand I think they'll have a good chance of coming up.

I don't like Kilmarnock's artificial pitch. It adds nothing to the league. It's an amazing achievement that Arbroath are winning the league, but I fear they will be too poorly equipped to play in the premiership.

When he didn't get a sniff of Ibrox or Easter Road perhaps he realised he needed to rebuild some reputation. 3rd was the highlest reasonable expectation at Aberdeen, but he had been plodding for a couple of seasons.

Enjoyable game last night.

The first half was excellent, although Hibs could have scored within a couple of minutes.

Second half slowed down a bit, but was well controlled.

The new boys did well.

Very encouraging.

He's decent... Built like a brisk st house, but quicker than you might think, generally positions himself well, calm on the ball, decent in the air. Not blemish free - no defender is - but better than recent occupants of his shirt that we've had.
