BSR the main differnce is that for bale we paid £5m, for modric it was £16.5m, the profit on bale would be huge if someone offers us £40m and to good for levy to turn down.
.
I honestly dont think that is relevant and I don't think that a businessman like Levy would ever see things like that. He would only ever think in terms of current value and not 'profit'..
Its no different to selling a house or something. If you bought a house 30 years ago, you wouldn't accept an offer far lower that value on the basis that "I only bought it for £10k so its still a massive profit". I would suggest that reluctance would be even more emphsised by someone like Levy

Woo hoo! Got hold of two tickets for Sunday. Trouble is, the wife is coming with me. Nev er seen a professional game in her life or been in a modern stadium.
Not even sure she knows the rules. She asked me if Jamie O'Hara would be playing (she used to teach him)!
Might feel like a very long afternoon. Stiil, as she says 'come on the Spurs'.
You've done well. Ive been sitting with the ticket exchange open all week and this is the first match ever that I haven't been able to get tickets for.Not even sure she knows the rules. She asked me if Jamie O'Hara would be playing (she used to teach him)!

Still 2 days to go but I dont fancy my chances given how few single tickets Ive seen on there.
Bale won't leave tottenham for wages he shops in the discount section of tesco's and holidays in wales for gods sake.
He'll go to develop and become a better player that's why he'll stay at spurs next year because as a young player there is no better place for him to be so long as we get CL football of course.
