I think he got much better as the season went on. Infact towards the end of last season I couldn't understand why he wasn't on the pitch at times.

We've spent 35 million on him. One of my fears about Rodgers is that he may not have enough of a plan B or be able to mix it up.

Unless we're bringing someone else in as a striker apart from this young lad we've just bought then I think we'll be short of options upfront.

If he goes to West Ham I'm pretty sure he'll score 15 goals. I'm also pretty sure it will be playing the type of football Rodgers wouldn't want to.

As it stands I'd keep him and see if he can contribute to Rodgers plans. What do you think Glen?

His performances (including the Euros) at the end of the season make me feel quite awkward about taking the piss about him.

It's an interesting one. I know Spurs were keen on him as a player who could make weight in the Modric deal and he didn't want to come. He seems to like Arsenal. If he goes to Liverpool it would be a big plus for them if only in showing that they can attract the players...
