Wot, like men sweat and women perspire, you mean? OK. wink
The women's game has come on a bit since last time I saw it, but the basic problem they still have is a lack of power, especially when shooting.

Was just wondering what would be the equivalent male standard for English Women?

In rugby it's probably about schoolboy 2nd XV I'd say. I'd say about U-16s at best?

Worse than that. Especially the goalkeepers, they are absolutely terrible.

It could be complete rubbish but when I was at Uni in the US we were told the world cup winning women's team were comfortably beaten by the U16 US boys team

I can well believe that.

You seen the size of some 16 year olds these days?

For pace, power and agility they would destroy a women's team.

Much more interesting/satisfying watching the women run around than the men though!

How so? If you mean because they are women, well not really, they have massive quads and calfs.

This isn't women's rugby.

While it may not be a sight from a connoisseur's POV & while some of the girls may not be exactly cover models, they're not all rotten.
Going back a few years now, but I take it you haven't seen the Playboy shoot of the Brazilian women's team of the day? Doesn't look too much like hard work to me eekyum.

Why is it only football where people compare the 2 genders and use the different to mock the women's game?. I never hear anyone panning Dame Kelly Holmes for being slower than the men, or women tennis players because their game is slower. Rebecca Adlington, her times are rubbish compared to men!

It's completely ludicrous to compare the two. All I care about is that the England womens team is better that other nations women's teams.

It's not only football. Ladies golf is patently ridiculous to watch, at times. Ladies rugby is routinely mocked.

Well don't bleeding watch then. It's not compulsory!!
For my part, I will watch and support anyone in an England or Chelsea shirt.

Ooh, I dunno, I quite like ladies golf, they need good swings to compensate for their power shortage and I think they look quite graceful as a result.

I dno't think the Woman's game gets enough TV coverage or attention. they are half the bleeding population for christ sake.

We should not judge it by male standards, as they are not male. They are female, and the game should be played to suit their strengths, not try and turn it into a version of the men's game.
