Hi Legend...
He was poor with us and had a decidedly average scoring record, something like one every five or six games. I was very underwhelmed, but given how he has done since he left us, I'd say he was poorly managed at YTFC. Had a decent season last year at Oldham so his star is very much on the shine right now.
ETA - his record was 10 goals in 30 starts +23 sub appearances for us. At Oldham, his record in 14 starts + 6 subs was 12 goals. Vastly improved, and could do well with you guys.
Prem quality? Not yet for me, but another season in the Championship might be what he needs.
He is 6ft 3 - worst case scenario we can stick him in goal instead of the midgets we currently have .He was poor with us and had a decidedly average scoring record, something like one every five or six games. I used to think that when players were crap at Yeovil, it was because they were crap full stop. But a host of players have been poorly coached / poorly managed over the past four or five years and then gone on elsewhere and done well, it has to be the club instead.
Tom Eaves? Let go on a free transfer then ended up fourth top scorer in League One last season with 21 goals in 43 games. Our clueless clot of a manager played him on the wing.... he's built like a brick outhouse.
Kieffer Moore? Let go on a free transfer after a decent spell at Yeovil; this week, he signed a deal with Wigan that saw Barnsley get £2.5 million for him after hitting 17 league goals last year.
Paddy Madden? Let him go, for a small fee, after scoring the goal that took us to the Championship. Scored 14 goals for Fleetwood last season.
Kieran Agard? 20 goals in 43 league games for MK Dons in 2018/19 after leaving YTFC on a free.
There are so many more like him that it's hard to draw any other conclusion really. Our coaching is crap and Surridge will now go on and play for England in the next year or two.....
Got your open top bus booked for the end of the month Ant?
Because everyone knows you've won the league in September.
By the way, managed to sell out the home end for your Cup Final against the Argyle yet? Apparently we sold the away allocation in less than an hour and a half. If you had sold home end at the same rate, you'd have sold 91,000 tickets by the end of the day they went on sale, so I'm told. but then, City have never sold 91,000 tickets in a season have they, never mind a day?
Sits back awaiting pithy reply

And everyone who's miles behind says the league isn't won in September. Of course, we're well aware of that (and have never said any differently either), but I suspect if it was offered to you you'd swap positions in a heartbeat and then be all over the internet telling everyone how you'll soon be back in your rightful place.
As for ticket sales, it's obvious it means a lot more to you than it does to us (in spite of what some of your more enlightened bretheren might tell us) and that you're rather more desperate to come to Exeter than anyone this side of the county is to go to your sthole of a town. I hear tickets sell quite well for games at Wembley too.

It's too easy Ant.
Quite honestly I don't get the rivalry that our knuckle dragging fans try and drum up. I drive in and out of Exeter quite enough through the week, I don't want to come and watch a (what will be) tip toe game of nervous football. I don't want to hear our fans chanting disgusting stuff about Adam Stansfield, I don't want to watch the Big Bank go off on one when we (or you) score. I don't want to be kettled into the Walkabout Bar, then marched with 200 other pissed Argyle fans half way around Exeter to SJP.
Mate, I'd rather go for a pint than put up with all that crap. Leave it to the Dark Fruits Ultras.

Argyle is a project, whereas Exeter are in the projects. HTH.Quite honestly I don't get the rivalry that our knuckle dragging fans try and drum up. I watched the FA cup draw earlier ,Chichester FC get a bye into 2nd round due to Bury being removed from the league.
And they've automatically earnt £32k or £36k (something like that anyway) as a result. Invaluable income for clubs at that level. But also that they'd donate some of that to Bury
