My beloved Tranmere Rovers are getting some signings in early this off season, hope returns.
Now a question for you all. Do you find as supporters of lower league teams that football snobbery from premier league team supporters is getting worse? My workplace is packed with Liverpool, Everton, Man Utd, and the odd Arsenal fans. The amount of "banter" I get about the fact I support a small club is a bit

I suspect the banter you can give back to people supporting those clubs you list is far greater than what they can give you for supporting Tranmere. Armchair fans have nothing to gloat about when talking about ‘their’ club. Now a question for you all. I'll try and explain.
Ainsworth is aggressive (you as a fan would say passionate, but it's more than that) he goes out of his way to get a reaction from the opposing dugout. He looks like he wouldn't look out of place at an Irish Caravan Enthusiasts rally. He's at best, scruffy.
The time wasting. It's not just a bit. The whole game plan is built around it. Away games are set up for a 0-0. 11 men behind the ball. It kills a game. Or if Wycombe go one up, the game dies. Instantly, stone dead. It goes into slow motion. For a football fan it is horrible to watch. Soul destroying. It is not the spirit of the game.
Akinfenwa. Lob the ball at him, he can't run, he's built like a rugby player and just hoofs the ball to towards the opposing goal. You know when he comes on it's time to leave and get the early bus home.

Anti-football. But I would say that as Wycombe are our bogey team!Ainsworth is aggressive (you as a fan would say passionate, but it's more than that) he goes out of his way to get a reaction from the opposing dugout. Didn't he wind up Derek Adams at HP Selym? Bit ironic really, Del being the wind up King.
Takes some doing doesn't it? I've got to say it all stems from Ainsworth - the way they play, the swagger, the timewasting from kick off, the histrionics - which are really polarising; hate it if you are an opposition supporter but he's a saint within the Chairboys support. Horrible.

Another good win for Argyle last night 2-1 Sheffield Wed. Seem to have started the season well played the top teams so far. Just hope the run continues and the post Christmas doldrums don't happen ! Looking forward to championship football at Home Park next season ...
Plymouth were comfortably the best team we've played so far (I'm Ipswich) decent football too, I felt we were relatively evenly matched, but we messed up that final part of the match you guys edged it. I like Plymouth, nice club and doing brilliantly on the pitch, Schumacher has got you playing really well, hope you're up there with us at the end.My thoughts are we were better than Wednesday too in my humble opinion (save for an offside given incorrectly, we'd have won) but they have some real quality in their team and I do think they'll be up there with us come the end of the season, Bannan should not be in this league, if they lose him, they'll be screwed, much like MK Dons losing Twine, so influential it's unreal.
Derby, Bolton and Barnsley picking up a bit of form now too, think it'll take 80pts just to make playoffs this year.
Strongest L1 in a few years IMO. My boys (Bolton) are purring on the bigger stages but strangely flat at the smaller places like Cheltenham on Tue. Gonna be some very strong teams in the play-offs I suspect and I can't see anyone running away with it.
I was supposed to be going to FGR on Sat for the first time but the train strikes have fked that one.
