I'm taking so little interest now,I didn't even know we were playing Crawley who WERE below us in the relegation
fight.
Well Crawley are now above us as we lost 2-3 to them.
Bye bye L1.
Yep, we're doomed too. Needed to get something from Leyton Orient today but chose the match to put out our worst performance in years. Fed up now. fight.

There were 4 Swansea loanees in that game - unfortunately for you the only one that scored was Ryan Hedges for Leyton Orient!Legend83 said:

He didn't play but Kingsley and Shephard both did. Trouble is, we are struggling big time and those two spend more time fighting fires than setting the team alight at all. Feel sorry for them but at least the end is nigh.
Stevenage look to be heading into the L2 playoffs with currently 1 defeat in 13 which itself was a farce with the lino flagging offside, ref playing on only for Daggers to cross the ball to a player to score who was offside but the lino was still flagging the original decision so couldn't see that one!
Head up though Cosworth, it's been a bit more enjoyable in League 2 with more local away games and not getting bummed every week. L2 is dreadful and with only 2 going down, it can be a good way of rebuilding the team with little risk of going down - although if you do go down, the conference is evil.

It irks me that we sold a regular scorer in Freddie Sears,to Ipswich
of all clubs and he is popping plenty in for them now....
For Freddie Sears to Ipswich, read Paddy Madden to Shorpe for us. Fell out with the manager last season, scored nearly twenty goals this year. Our whole team has only got 33 in the league this season. of all clubs and he is popping plenty in for them now....

33! That is grim. I think we managed a goal a game finishing bottom last season. What's gone on at Yeovil? Established in League 1, has the promotion ruined you? I'm almost glad we didn't get into the Championship when we got into the playoffs as I fear we might have gone through the same. Are you going to be alright in League 2? It's a dreadful division.Boydie88 said:

It's a dreadful division. The season in the second tier wasn't THAT bad really, we ended up with more points than we've got this season FFS..... . I know I'm bound to say this but we had some shocking decisions to contend with in the Championship and yes, I guess they even themselves out, but we just weren't cute enough. Put up a good fight though....
This season, Johnson bought terribly in the summer. Brought in seven or eight signings on two year deals and by Christmas, two or three of them were sent out on loan to other clubs and a couple were injured. They sacked Johnson after the transfer window closed meaning Terry Skiverton could only work with the players he had. Tried bringing in some loans that initially steadied the ship but then lost six in a row and the board had to act.
Paul Sturrock's come in now and got four points from two games and settled everything down. Hoping he will buy well in the summer and maybe take us into the playoffs next season. I'm optimistic but only because we can't have three bad seasons in a row, can we?

Looks like today will be the end of Tranmere in league 2 - I am not a "fan" but I do go and used to go a lot in the Aldo days, I live a 5 min walk from the ground and its incredibly sad what has happened.
A good friend of mine is a life long Tranmere fan, he worked for the club for many years. To say he is devastated would be an understatement.Saw them a few times while Aldridge was playing, hard to believe what has happened.
