How can you "hate" a sport??? At 38 I've never seen a game of football in my life......but "hate"???? Do you "hate" chess? Badminton? Horse jumping?

I'm 39 and haven't seen a game of football since my dad took me a couple of times to see the reserves at Old Trafford when I was a nipper.

Did the OP really post this in the Football section or did the mods move it? I'm sure there are plenty of people who share his dislike for football (I can't get beyond disinterest) but there aren't likely to be many of them in the football forum.

Well they are still being paid by their clubs. Someone like Sturridge is probably picking up £75K a week while he takes part in this charade, when he should be playing proper football with his team mates on their pre season tour.

The funny thing is that even Clarkson has realised the error of his ways and now watches football.

He's a glory hunter, though, having jumped on the Chelski bandwagon, rather than supporting his home town team - Shorpe.

Yep..I've seen it played of course. But never attended a game (be it 5 year olds or pro) and never sat through more than 2 or 3 mins on telly......it's very easy to ignore things you arent into. I've never seen a full horse race or more than 2 mins of cricket either!
