I was going to say Lambert at Villa, but they were a totally different team when playing us on Sunday.

Mark Hughes is my bet. IMHO a massively overated manager at a big spending club who aren't producing the results, and don't look close to producing the results.

I think Hughton is a top manager, deserves his chance in the Premiership and definitely deserves time.

Rodgers and AVB need a lot of time. Liverpool look like a bottom half team at the moment.

Mancini has got to be worth a shout - with the amount that he's spent over the last few years and still whinging about a lack of signings this season (aren't the ones that he did sign good enough any more?), I wonder how long before the owners patience runs out.
Not beyond the realms of possibility. A poor run in the CL, Tevez throws another strop and he could be out. I don't think Newcastle will do as well this time around, but even though they have a decent manager, I'd never rule out Mike Ashley doing something stupid. QPR is possible as Hughes has brought in a lot of older players on high wages, a strategy that has backfired spectacularly in the past. Despite what the vocal lunatics might say, Liverpool are not going to go down.

I've voted for West Ham, since the manager isn't popular with the fans. And it would be really funny.

BF Sam will be ok this season as long as they aren't in a relegation battle. Lower mid table & I'd imagine that will pacify the locals for now.
Mancini won't go before the end of the season, if he does go. The stuff about signings was a bit of posturing, persuasion & advanced defence more than anything fundamental - IMO.

Hughes is the donkey dangling over the tower's edge for me. A lot of money spent, serious commitments in terms of wages, not much to back it up in terms of income (presume Mittal isn't involved any more) and they aren't much kop on the field. Get towards Christmas and they're still in trouble, he's toast.
I suppose Brendan Rodgers would be the other, being entirely dependent on whether or not he can persuade someone to score every now & again. I hope he doesn't get the bullet, but he's been hung out to dry by the owners/ops people and is an easy scapegoat for owners with a certain agenda.

I think that you're right about Mancini's motives, but what sort of message does it send to the players if the manager doesn't (publicly anyway) think that last years squad is good enough? Man management doesn't appear to be his strong point though, if the way that he dealt with Tevez last season is anything to go by.

Rogers needs at least a season before he's judged, maybe longer. I wonder if the owners / fans have the patience?

Agree with that.

I wonder if there's the possibility of 'Arry being parachuted into Loftus Rd by Fernandez & Co come xmas time if they are still floundering around in the bottom 3 or 4...??
Fernandez is the type of chairman I could see HK getting on with, and it's a London club which would suit HK.

I'm pretty useless at these enhanced features. Could one of you nice gentlemen create a poll 'which club will see its supporters protest against their owners first'? smile

Actually I went for Villa, but I would have put money on it being QPR.

Same here.

Even with CFC's dictatorial ownership I didn't think they would be the first to kick out their manager - astonishing.
