I was getting bored! The ManU thread has gone to pot, the Chelsea and City threads are as dead as usual. No other threads worth reading.

Interesting to learn that FSG didn't even entertain the idea of having him back though, not even a phone call to him. I don't think Rafa would have done any better than KK for what it's worth.

The irony is that I think if it had been FSG that had bought the club instead of Hicks and Gillet, and therefore it had been FSG that Rafa had worked under, I think he would have been a lot more successful, and possibly clinched that title.
