oh usually the final nail....Jose must be very happy Brendan got the chop yesterday as there seems to be very little pressure on him from the media. Considering I've heard several calls for both Wenger and Van Gall to be sacked this week that's pretty remarkable. I wonder if Liverpool decided to act quickly before we got a chance to talk to Carlo or Klopp?
I think the fact that it's the international break is more relevant than Chelsea's recent results, but I'm sure it focused the minds of those at FSG. There is a perception that Chelsea's results have left FSG feeling that there is a top four place up for grabs and BR wasn't capitalising on that.

Positives: Costa (we miss him badly), Loftus-Cheek (looking like real potential), Willian.
That's it... rest were dire again.
Azpilicueta and the goalie are doing ok.That's it... rest were dire again.
Again, countering the stereotype, there should be some positivity. We won for a change. We didn't make any terrible lapses in defence though Baba needs to be careful. Costa scored, William looked on it. Others looked poor but I think confidence is obviously unbelievably low right now. Baby steps. Hopefully confidence will start to pick up.

That young Belgian lad that City have looks good, if only we could have bought him for £6.7mil...
If only when we had him he didn't expect to walk into the team ahead of Hazard, Oscar etc. Don't think we ever had an issue with his talent - his attitude (like his Belgian teammate Lukaku) stank. Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
