I'd be quite happy to have David Luiz back. I don't remember him letting us down too often. The odd error but no more than any other defender. And add in some great free kicks. And his CL penalty under pressure in the shoot out when Mata had missed the first one.

I remember his game for PSG v Barca (Well Suarez) laugh

I would think he is implying some sort of financial fairplay transfer shenanigans.

Seemed a lot when sold him and it seems a lot to buy him back.

But who knows?

Yeah something was never right with this average footballer selling for £50M in the first place.

& let's be fair here , he is very average.

Average on a good day ! Can't believe we're bringing him back as a defender. He wasn't that bad as a midfielder as it didn't matter when he went on one of those runs and lost the ball, but when he went awol as a defender he put us in the ste so many times. Side-show Bob's back in town !! frown
Surely they must have put 'SOLD AS SEEN ' on the receipt ,so there was no come-back on the sale !!

I am pretty disappointed we've ended up with him. I'm hoping he's matured a bit at psg and certainly he played a damn sight better for them than for us, however I'm reminded of Germany 7 Brazil 1, and all the suicidal situations he got Chelsea into and am worried. I only hope Conte thinks he can kick the living st out of Luiz and make him a proper centre back in his mould.

Bizarre signing, thought Chelsea did a good deal selling him for so much.

I'd rather have Luiz back that fking Lukaku. Luiz was, by and large, great for us. Immense in our 2012 CL campaign.

I like taunting. All this rubbish about not celebrating goals scored against former clubs. fk that. He was a PSG player. He scored and knocked us out. Of course he was happy. I want players who a desperate to win, and are 100% committed to the team and fans that are actually paying them!

Good article by the usually moronic Martin Keown in the Mail today, summed up my thoughts on David Luiz. Must've been ghost written, was far to sensible for him.

Ref had a shocker for both teams, Cahill's been on twitter very angry about being fouled for their second goal. Should have put the game to bed by half time thoug

Mariners a reasonable ref....most of the time, but how far away was he? But deffo a foul. Blues went a bit flat in the 2nd half then pulled it together later on. Should have won.....bugger.
