Careful you don't stereotype anyone there.
Not stereotyping anyone, could easily have been United that day, United fans still to this day jib into grounds. Both clubs have far more fans than tickets for big games and thus there will always be people who will do whatever it takes to get in the ground.

More recently there was a very dangerous crush for United in Lille, when the same thing happened.
Sorry, there was a hint of sarcasm in my post. You made a good point, but there's always the possibility that some people would assume you're saying all people from Liverpool would try to get in without paying

As a neutral Spud , I believe that it was right for Everton to show solidarity with their neighbours, Liverpool, at the earliest possible occasion after the publication of last week's damning report.

The Newcastle game was the first opportunity that they had to demonstrate their support. So, they did the right thing at the right moment, IMO.

That's fair enough and I don't disagree with the sentiment.

What I do find galling is the triumphant nature and continuing insistence that we should all pay special attention to the matter now. Gloating that the Police were dishonest is still gloating and is not in my eyes showing dignity for those who were sadly killed that day.

I would imagine there are many families in Turin who find the prospect of Liverpool supporters and others alongside them triumphantly heralding innocence from the roof tops regards events in the 80s a touch unfortunate, too.

All in all, this sad event happened nearly a quarter of a century ago. By all means encourage quiet commemoration on anniversaries, but to act as if this had happened yesterday is just over the top and unnecessary, in my opinion.
You cant see why the publication of the enquiry's findings may have prompted this "...special attention..."?
