I've a lot of time for Sterling. I think the team who cannot be named are very fortunate they didn't loan him out as they were considering at the start of the season.

Exciting season for him I think!

Definitely a big season for him. The fact he is keeping downing out of the team speaks volumes to me. However we must be careful that he doesn't get burned out by being played too much early on in his career.

I'm worried that we're going to burn him out tbh. He's gone from a sub appearance or two last season, to effectively being first choice starter this season at the age of 17. Brendan I think has stated he has his '1st XI' and in the main, that has shown through in the squad selection so far.

Utd is a massive game this weekend and I can see him starting that as well. Looks like there will be plenty of pressure on the occasion too.

I like the idea of the two clubs trying to limit the vitriol between them to on-field matters, as there's absolutely no justification in issues such as Hillsborough or Munich being used to taunt each other.

I think my views on whether they should be morris dancing around ballons or self harming or whatever in response to what happened in 1989 are already established.

Exactly! I suggested as much when we failed to get Dempsey. I think if we had got Dempsey, the amount of game time Sterling would have got by now would have been drastically reduced.
