I for one am pleased that your club is staying at Anfield. Shirley, there's not a ground in Europe steeped in more footballing history?
You might want to look over the park for some real Stadium history...

http://www.evertonfc.com/history/everton-firsts.ht...

First with under soil heating, first purpose built football stadium, first with 2 tiers, first with 3 tiers, first to have dugouts, first club to stage a World Cup semi-final in Britain, first stadium to have a game broadcast, blah blah.

No planning submission until next summer, work not expected to start until 2014.

Sounds awfully familiar.

If I see a Yank sticking a shovel in the carpark and claiming things are all go I won't be impressed.

I believe Blib's key phrase was 'footballing history'.

I think Henderson is technically very good. I watched him for the Under 21s against Serbia and whilst he wasn't quote as anonymous as he is for Liverpool, he still doesn't look at all threatening. He looked to play the ball sideways all the time, then made a run to nowhere. He seems to me to be lacking that edge to his play, where he'd cut the defence apart with a through ball or spot a gap and run through it with the ball. Hopefully it's down to a lack of confidence rather than lack of ability.

So do I, he's still relatively young and he doesnt seem to be found wanting in the physical side of things, he also seems paitient to bide his time, not making noises in the press and seemingly doing his bet to improve. I appreciate he cost something like £20mil however he's not the first person to be burdened by a high price tag.

Yeah, who wants a footballer who keeps the ball, passes to a team mate and moves into a position to receive it again?
