That's most peculiar. One would have thought he'd stay for another season or at least until Xmas so he can save another team from relegation. Strange chap is BFS...

He's obviously been in talks with someone else behind their back and has a new job lined up.

I find him an utterly disgusting man.

I actually think he was a bit hard done by with the England job. He's repellent, but in a good-at-football kind of way.

Shame you've missed out on Marco Silva. Hands off Garry Monk please.

He's gone, stating that he wants to settle down and do something other than manage a footy club.

Retirement then, for now anyway!

If I'd earned approx. £11 million in the last twenty months, I think I would retire too!

where's that from? Thought he got £1M pay off from England (as a congratulations for gross misconduct - WTF)
and you paid him £2M bonus for staying up?

Frank de Boer. As good an appointment as we could possibly hope for.
Fingers crossed he's wanting to stay for a while and build something good...

Pathetic.

How can he be accountable for one of his players doing a horrendous back pass leading to a goal and Ward (I think) missing a sitter? It's a joke.

I watched the game yesterday and thought Palace looked pretty good!

I watched the second half and Palace were playing well as a team and should have got something out of that game. Was Parish even watching the same match?

I agree , I thought they were good yesterday too.

Their next four league games are Southampton & Chelsea at home & both the Manchester clubs away.

They could well be pointless after 8 games.

Brought in a young, progressive manager, and replaced him after 4 games with Roy Hodgson.
Blimey.

Not seen any of Palace games this season, but looking at their squad they have plenty of players with premiership experience, maybe not great on the quality front.

To sack him after 4 games is a joke though. How can you expect him to implement anything with the players, formation, structure is beyond me.

Apparently Palace's 8 manager in 7 years.
