Getting on for six months since anyone commented on here rolleyes

Four points off City and no goals conceded is amazing. FA cup 1/4 final on Sunday.

Shaping up to be a great finale, especially with Brighton now fizzling out. Mind the gap! beer

Good times. I have a soft spot for Palace from when I lived in Croydon. Nice club and good people.

Nice to be out of the relegation fight and building for next season already.

My last post was against City and now I’m back! What an atmosphere, what a team effort…I sat next to James Acaster in the Glaziers lounge! Bring on the Toffees on Sunday….Wembley here we come!

Oh my god what a performance against the Arse…..3-0 to the mighty Palace, top 10 and a Wembley semi final round the corner. Happy days at Selhurst! COYP

Viera's doing a great job for Palace and I think you throughly deserve your current league position. The player who impresses me every time I see you play is Conor Gallagher; I think we (Leeds) were close to getting him in the summer but he chose to stay in London and our loss has definitely been your gain. I guess the worry for you is whether he stays - the way he's playing it's not impossible Chelsea might want their player back!

Cheers JNW1, I'm sure Chelsea will want Conor Gallagher back but you never know Palace might just stump up a lot of money for him, but I think it might be his decision ultimately. He's a great player with fantastic stamina and a great tackler and we'll miss him in the semi frown

Well, that’s that then. What a fantastic season, ok, we should have finished top ten and above the Weed but given that we were tipped to go down it couldn’t have gone better culminating in a win over Man Ure! I’ll take that, roll on August.

Hear hear.

We're just lulling them into a false sense of security. Normal service will be resumed next season wink

Woy!

Madness when you think Palace had a lot of easy games coming up, which RH will benefit from managing rather than PV

With great respect, have you sat through 90 mins of any Palace games lately? Turgid and depressing stuff and PV simply had no idea how to change things. Same selections, same tactics, same substitutions. Definition of madness....

Appointing Roy is actually a positive step imho. It's only for ten games. We get Ray Lewington too, which is a big plus. They know the club and almost all the players inside out. There's little comparison with his appointment at Watford. He's the only manager we've had that has kept us in the PL for 4 years running.

Yes, we might have to put up with some 'pragmatic' football, but if we stay up then I guess it's worth it. However, in my view Patrick V definitely had to go.

Interesting, you know much more than me.

From an outside perspective PV always looked assured, and 8 of your remaining 10 games are all the 8 below you - a great run in.

Plus I cannot stand Roy (as a manager, he is a lovely man) due his terrible record and signings for us

Getting on for a year since anyone posted on here. It's been pretty grim for the last couple of months up until Liverpool, Man City and Brighton. Even the second half of tonight's game v Brighton was pretty turgid and they deserved the draw.

Have we turned the corner? Not sure, but let's see if Santa Parish brings in one or two proper players in January...
