Just to add my contribution to thread, from the perspective of a match most neutrals won't have noticed. It's a massive well done to the Super Reds, Barnsley FC. We have sat through 11 home games without a win in the league and currently have no manager but we managed a 1-0 win at home to Burnley today, there were only 5000 there with over a thousand from Burnley but finally we got a win at home and hopefully we can push on (and off the bottom of the table) against dirty Leeds next week. Well we live in hope!

Think West Ham will come up short at Old Trafford. RvP is as clinical a finisher as I've ever seen. Excellent cup tie. What the FA Cup is all about.

Also a mention goes to Crawley after taking the lead at Reading after about a minute.
Was after about 14 seconds and a really decent strike!

Here's hoping for an Aldershot v Reading 4th round

Interesting team.
Why not just start Suarez and Gerrard with Sturridge and see how that goes?
Grab 2 or 3 (with the way we are playing) by half time then bring them off for Henderson, Shelvey and Suso?

Have you seen the pitch? It's like a spud field!

I wouldn't risk either if them either.

I read yesterday that it may have been called off due to a waterlogged pitch but haven't seen it no.
Do you go on any other LFC forums?

We really dont need to be starting those 2 against a team in the conference... we need to rest them. UTD next, we cant afford them 2 picking up knocks on what will be probably a tough surface.

"Mansfield FC" oh for f**k's sake.
People really do know feck all about life outside the Premiership.

By the way, in 1968/69 Mansfield Town beat West Ham 3-0 in the fifth round. The West Ham team included world cup winners, Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst and Martin Peters as well as Harry Redknapp and Trevor Brooking.

yes that's why I wouldn't risk many of the senior players on it.
