Does make sense not playing Suarez and Gerrard on that.
I don't think it will be the main reason though because he wouldn't have started Sturridge. Obviously thinks it will benefit Sturridge by getting match time.

Quite impressed by the amount of teams who are in divisions below that match/play better than their opponents in higher leagues, if that makes sense.

By the way, in 1968/69 Mansfield Town beat West Ham 3-0 in the fifth round. The West Ham team included world cup winners, Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst and Martin Peters as well as Harry Redknapp and Trevor Brooking.

Who knows....maybe he is not prepared for a hard gritty game at Mansfield!

I wanted tickets for this game as I am quite local but could not get hold of any- and I was not prepared to camp overnight in mansfield!

The park we use to play football on every Saturday is in better condition than this pitch.
Can't get over how bad it is.
Surely both teams share the disadvantage so it will stop them playing as much as it stops us.
Us with more quality should show it more so.

Bright start from Sturridge. Not sure he'll last the whole 90, but the 7 weeks out doesn't seem to have affected him too adversely!
