I kind of agree though.
Anyone who thinks that Bale is better than Wilshere must be clueless and/or a Spud

Wilshere is the better player, bales a one trick pony.

JW will grow into a top player in a few years, Bale will be forgotton about once he moves abroad.

Bale has shown over the last few seasons that managers, defenders etc can't deal with him. Drop off of him, he'll shoot (do you really want to see your defence back off of him on the edge of the box?) from anywhere. Play too tight and high to him and he'll skin you alive and still play a killer cross or pass.

I agree that he is over hyped lately and I also agree that Wilshere is and will be Englands best MF since Scholes but to call Bale a one trick pony is a little odd. He has found a way of scoring goals, what do you want him to do, stop and try it another way?

Is it just a red teams fans sticking up for other teams in red or what? Is it Welshism, Spursism or just plain old Acme jealousy?

I quite like Spurs, I have regularly praised your keeper and Dembele who are both great players and both of whom I would sign before Bale. Don't confuse me pointing out how overhyped Bale is with a supposed dislike of Spurs.

That's just totally incorrect though. Over the past few seasons he has had one good game in 5, the last few games since he was anonymous against United and Leeds are the first time he has ever consistently played well. Rafael has always had him in his pocket, basically any defender with pace can neutralise him, hence AVB moving him into the middle.

Yes into the middle where central defenders and covering midfielders can't deal with him Digi.

You said over the past few years defenders can't deal with him which isn't true as bar the last couple of months he had one good game in 5.

You have now built your whole team around him and to be fair he has risen to the occasion, albeit they have all been against poor sides. If/when he leaves we will see just how good he is, when he is no longer the star player. We have seen similar seasons in the past like this from players like James Milner, and eventually they get found out.

Wiltshere all day every day. Bale just runs into them as fast as he can. Hes like aaron lenon but has the ability to get a decent shot off now and again. I think atm hes massively over hyped.

Wiltshere is 19 for christ sake... 19!!! Hes got another 5 or so years yet till he reaches his peek and look how good he is now! If arsenal do spend big in the summer like they say I think you'll start to see him score a lot more goals and get a ridiculous amount of assists

He's actually 21 (Wilshere)

But seems as he's missed 18 months through injury I suppose he is 19 really. Sort off.

My bad. You're right. But as you say he has only just come back from a long injury spell which once again shows how far he still has got to improve. Il admit i am slightly biased being an arsenal fan but i just think as a player wiltshere contributes more to the overall game and if arsenal had a consistentlt potent striker you'd see how effective he is

Don't bring Fabregas into this conversation, we're talking about World class players.

Wilshere.

Bale cant put a full season together, whilst Wilshere hasnt really had the chance to yet. The only way Jack could really improve is by scoring a few more goals but then the assists he gets kind of makes up for that.

Plus I might be slightly biased...
