Are we saying that he can only play well with Lucas in the team? That's a bit damning - either of him or the manager.
Not quite, he was playing with Allen in a 3 , we changed that when Lucas came back to be part of a 4 2 3 1

Just struck me that the whole team is from the Top 6 and then looking back that happens a lot. Mignolet to me is the player that stands out as being unlucky as someone else said.....sure you'd expect the top teams to make up 90% of the team but there are players from the "lesser" teams that seem to get ignored.

Well, I'm just glad Baines got in. Well deserved.

Any suggestion that Gerrard has had a good season in comparison to previous years is frankly tosh.

This season in pretty much any game I seen him in he's had a bit of the Lamps about him, particularly in the bigger games - both he and lamps have played some games this season as if they were wearing their Sunday best....

I think gerrard has been pretty much anonymous this season and nowhere near the influence of previous seasons...

and he'll NEVER win a premier league title...should have joined United when we lost Keane, he'd be counting his medals by now...

Oh and he's not a massive like England's other leading left back whistle
