And replace him with who?

Man U haven't got the pick of the managers as all the ones everyone likes are tied down so by sacking moyes now they've actually done us a favour as no need to compete at the end of next year with them for Klopp et al.

'Arsenal, come and get me', Emmanuel Riviere looks a bit lively.

We'll prolly see him in a Noocassell shirt next season.

Big game tonight....you'd hope we'd have too much for them.

Sounds like Sagna is definitely leaving according to Arseblog.

I read that AW said that the talks were not moving..
I take that to mean he's going.

I'm going to the game tonight, hope its a good one!

Apparently talks broke down quite some time ago "balls in Sagna's court" etc.

And a win tonight will of course safeguard Wenger's future for a few more years.

One of the most one sided games I have seen all season, truly was a training ground exercise for us.

4th and the FA Cup (yes I know we haven't won it yet)- who would have taken that at the start of the season, especially after the Villa defeat when there were epic levels of doom and gloom around the club?

Wenger's biggest mistake was what he did (or didn't do) in the transfer window last year. There were world class centre forwards available- Higuain, Falcao, Cavani, even Suarez possibly for the right money despite what Liverpool say.

We didn't sign any of them, and now this summer that quality of player is arguably not available, regardless of what funds we have at our disposal. Giroud has scored 21 goals and got 10 assists, played 48 games, stayed fit all season and for all his critics has done a very good job for us considering the pressure he is under and the role he plays (lone striker, getting kicked/elbowed fighting for aerial balls all season long with no viable support). He's worked hard and deserves more credit than he gets. Hard to see where and at what price we can find a significantly better forward this summer...

Don't choke on your chicken Bloo! I see what passes for success at Woolwich has come to pass once again. At least there's plenty of space in the cabinet for the fourth place cup as ever! I've said it before round here, what I LOVE about the gooners is the delusion. Us Spuds, we know we're rubbish, but the Goons, well, you think you're good. Congratulations on your forthcoming part in the ECL crowd scenes. Long live Wenger!!

He did something like that to Mata in the game against Chelsea before Xmas. Has the ability to make other players look incredibly ordinary.

Newcastle really couldn't be arsed last night.

I'd agree that Giroud's had a decent season, injuries have been our undoing in midfield but we've been incredibly lucky he didn't get injured. People saying we should out Giroud and keep Sanogo as a back up to a new striker need their heads examined.

More of a training match really, Newcastle were bloody terrible. I thought Ozil had a great game, MOTM for me. I think he'll come into his own next season and will make some people look very stupid with there opinions on him. I like Giroud a lot, but can't help but think how many a top striker would have scored this season with our midfield providing the chances. What could have been ...

17 consecutive seasons in the Champions League.

The only other team to ever achieve that is Real Madrid. Massive achievement whatever spin you want to put on things.

Just the 1 for Spurs wasn't itlaugh

I won't ask you to list what you have won in the 17 years you have not had the burden of CL footballsmile
