I'm not superstitious so I'll post a comment or two.
I've watched every game on the Fulham website albeit 24 hours after the live event .
The Sunderland away game and the Brentford result are the stand out reasons why we're not in the automatic position right now.
Derby beating Cardiff is all we could hope for and it's gone our way.
One point the difference going into the final two games in the regular season sans counting the play offs which we are included should Cardiff pip us. Aston Villa are still in the hunt for the automatic place ?
Sunderland this coming Friday at CC is a must win as is Birmingham away.
Cardiff have Hull away and Reading at home and a one point advantage , thus far our gd is superior.
As black can man says : there's still hope .
Opinions welcomed .

Jimmy Hill would be pleased as punch!
Back in the high life again and merited.
That clip with the former players wishing the best for us got me emotional.

The silence has been deafening here as we observed the disappointing start, looking at the fixtures and wondering which clubs we would garner some points from.
Whether Tinkerman is the answer remains to be seen of course , there's little time for him to turn our fortunes around , the recovery has to start immediately.

Interesting time to be a supporter, last seasons euphoria to this seasons dismay .

Job jobbed , thus far .
Eight hours time difference for me so I only just discovered the latest. I'm off to Cebu for a weeks r&r , ( 30 minutes ferry , then a 4 hours drive in my L200 ) I'll be in a good frame of mind.

I read the stats , less possession than we're used to seeing but a good positive start from the new boss. I've not seen the reply yet , how did the defence perform , see the changes ?

Well, as a kid playing district inter school football ( I was right back in the school football team circa 1961/ 62 , we won the district shield , Stanley Park secondary school for girls and boys Carshalton Surrey, not oop north ) the first x1 were coached by Mr Carr. Ex NCO .

While your defending keep the ball away from the centre , play it wide . Simple rules really.

Yet we keep getting mugged central midfield .
Anyway, seems we are improving and I'll wager a thousand PHP we finish well placed.
Winner collects the bounty.

Well, it's Fulham.
Still time to get 40 points, now we have Point Blank Parker at the helm, what can possibly go wrong. I'm willing to bet 1000 ( PHP ) that we'll survive ...if I lose , winner collects .

I'll be in a resto somewhere in the Philippines with all the other sad old barflies drinking iced San Migs .
Seriously for a moment, there's not a lot you can really say, I've watched with disbelief at the wretched performances offered thus far. Like a lot of us here, I'm a lifelong fan and quite used to the highs and lows of supporting FFC but to make any sense of the antics of the owners and the exiting manager , is beyond my comprehension. Can someone help me understand ?

FYI , Point Blank is a film with Lee Marvin, it's main character is Walker , the original novel ( The Hunter ) was written by Richard Stark , character was Parker.
Point Blank Walker doesn't work so well.
Just aiming at a bit of levity to alleviate the depression.

Hmmmm, it's been a while, largely because of the consistent inconsistency that the boys are good at.
I thought I'd comment today on beam me up .
No doubting his footballing skills as a player . Excuse me if you think I'm a snob . I'm a born and bred sarf Londoner...BMU does not articulate too well.
I watched the short highlights of the latest farcical antics of Alfie, following the highlights there was a short interview with the Chauffeur. I checked to see if it was the Hatters match he was referring to, indeed it was.
I'll say no more.
Comments welcomed.

Gentleman Jim regained his voice. ....but now I think it's gone again.
He got very emotional and roared " now fk off" after Bryan netted his second .
Congratulations to Scott Parker and to the entire squad for a job well done.

For all the riches on the field, the old Cottage remains largely unchanged from the days of Johnny Haynes. It was always a pleasant place to watch football, shorn of the seriousness that pervaded the slicker neighbours at the other end of the Fulham Road. There is still an air of disbelief about their new-found status, an uncomfortable shuffling as if Just William had just been kitted out in his Sunday best. Vague talk of promotion to the Premiership, voiced confidently by Bracewell in his programme notes, would bring a crisis of identity as much as a potentially ruinous drain on resources. From much of what was on show yesterday, visions of visits by Manchester United and Arsenal can be shelved for a year or two. Fulham might have their work cut out surviving in a notoriously brutal division, though their teamsheet is laced with Premier League names.

Sad to say you are right. An 9 point gap to overhaul Burnley is not going to happen. I have a lot of time for Fulham, having watched many games on the terrace at the Hammersmith end with my dad and uncles but realistically this foray into the Premier will be a short one.
My dad was a Charlton supporter, we'd go to the Valley and then to Craven Cottage when both teams were in the same division . Happy days. I still miss him.
