Nice.
Couldn't hope for a better start. I've not seen any of the match just yet, takes a day or two for the official app to show the action.
A false dawn , perhaps but let's rejoice in the afterglow of the perfect start. ( drama queen , qui moi ? )

Nearly binned it last night, but 2 wins so far this season has to be seen positively. Good reports of the youngsters who played against Orient too. Couple more signings and dare we hope for a play-off push?

Nice day yesterday, 3 generations of us cheering on the whites. Pretty disjointed to be fair, but some of the new signings looked half handy.

Manager not happy with the recruitment of players, was in the paper and now on the beeb. Once you go public with that kind of stuff, it normally only gets more messy.

We're a family split between supporting Brighton and Fulham. I'm sat at home (man-flu), but my lad went with my step-dad (FFC), plus other brothers and uncles up from the south coast all supporting BHA. All agreed we've outplayed Brighton in both league games but have lost both.

Certainly a team that can score goals but with the wally with the brolly engineering the underhand return of his loaned player, they might have to come from elsewhere.

The penalty thing is getting beyond bizarre. Can't even score on against Ali All-Flapsy.

Strange night last night. Reading really aren't all that (5-0??), how the hell they're nailed in to 3rd place is beyond me.

We really ought to be around 3rd place ourselves, just can't see us getting that play off place now. We're short of something. One could say it's a striker, but we have an incredibly good goal difference. Weird situation.

Odd subs last night. Parker for the last 10 instead of Smith? Hmm. Fredericks looked utterly knackered too but stayed on.

Ayite back soon, Togo out of ACN.

I just watched the Hull game. We looked pretty good I thought.

I have reservations about Button and place Betts above him in all departments , especially kicking.
Good away result v The Brewers, I predict a big final push up the table from here on and a place in the play offs is very likely. What happens then is a lottery but I also predict we get promotion back to the Premiership.

Weak spots , Martin looks a big unit and falls over a lot , Malone makes errors in possession usually resulting in the opponent scoring . I liked Matt Smith , he defended well , didn't score many though but now gone .
Who the flying feck is going to take the penalties , 2 from 9 is it ? Appalling .

Any predictions from anyone V Spuds ?
I'll start if you like: Whites 3 Spuds 1

There's no doubt the manager is talented , let's hope he stays.

Crumbs, can't see us frying Spuds. Even if we do then all the big beasts will be in the quarters and one of them is bound to finish us off. Draws are seldom kind to us, unlike teams like Millwall it seems. Their cup record for a nothing team is staggering.

I think 6th place is going to be beyond us this year, the top 6 seem incapable of slipping up. Reading for God's sake. Gravity seems to be taking a holiday.

Admire your optimism, wish I could share it. If we'd beaten Reading last week as we should have, I'd believe.

I believe !
Life is full of surprises , last year English rugby was in the doldrums , along comes a wallaby , takes the bull by the horns and transforms a lacklustre pack into world beaters ( kiwis excluded ) , Leicester , another example .....
Brexit , Trump, Farage , Murray , etc etc , old timers like me just smile whimsical smiles and laugh at the world.
Fulham FC maybe have the chutzpah to achieve a surprise . We shall see.

Another penalty miss, but didn't really matter and lurking nicely around the playoff places.

Wally with the brolly been sacked (again) after unsettling Martin (and a reported £40k a week new contract awaits), but Martin might be wishing he'd played that a bit more professionally.

Here's hoping my earlier pessimism was misplaced. Looking good right now! Cue defeat to Blackburn on Tuesday.......

Picture this scenario :

FFC make the play offs, ........down to the last match , ......score draw AET.

Down to penalties.

I think we're playing some excellent football, banana skin tonight ? I don't think so. I think we'll beat BFC and move into the top six by merit.
Returning to the penalty situation and the reluctance of the ball to find the back of the net along with the awful performance thus far of the the designated takers.

Who's your choice ?

Sessegnon, Cairney, Martin. Surely those three can score 9 times out of 10. The bloody hell the gaffer is doing insisting on Ream taking one I don't know.

In and out of the playoff spots in the space of a week. Poor recent run. My dad went to Derby yesterday and said it was comical. 2 decent Fulham goals, 1 decent Derby goal and the others a joke, including one that he imagines will see the keeper dropped from the team.

If we edge into the playoffs I still think the self-destruct button is too frequently pressed.

I'm happy to see Button on the bench and Betts reinstated. I think he's the better footballer , he's passing out from the penalty area and general football skills surpass that of Button , in my opinion. I had my doubts about Malone but I won't criticize his latest performances.
I'm still not convinced that Chris Martin is worth his place , I think we're lacking a decisive strker in the mold of Barry Hayles or Saha....hard to find.

I applaud that performance at Norwich, I lived in Suffolk for 18 years and loved the banter between the tractor boys and Narich supporters in my local boozer , me being the incoming Londoner and Fulham fanboy.

What's next , Villa later today.

Can it boil down to the last match versus Wednesday ?

Play off spot ahoy, due to goal difference, well played - your next game against Huddersfield is damned important for both of you. Best o' luck smile
