Klopp is the man for the job.
Why is he going to want to leave Dortmund? especially for a team in turmoil.

The Barca job is going to be available at the end of the season..
I'd like to see Martinez get the job. Think he could build something special again, and playing the "right" way.

Don't be silly. Martinez won't continue like this at Everton. I like his style of play and wished him well at Evertom back at the start of the season, but he is naive with his tactics at times. There is no way he could succeed at United.

Again why would he want to leave Everton? He's playing really well, the crowd love him and he will be given time.

You lot have proved you want instant results! And with an ageing squad and up to your eyeballs in debt, who is going to want the poison chalice of a job.

Its a massive job, but right now I cant think of many top managers who would want it, well certainly not any that are currently working.

You do after a long-winded process to dismiss you. Contracts have to be honoured, but most contracts have break clauses in them for all sorts of specified reasons.

Moyes will have performance related bonuses and dismissal related failures in there too.

The unconfirmed rumours are that he will be sacked within the next 24 hours.

With the impending departure of Moyes, they will probably be on firm ground for the first time since they lifted the league title last season.

Bear in mind Barca may be looking for a big name at the helm soon, they might not get their first choice.

SkyBet have Moyes at 1/7 to leave before the end of May 2014. Or you can get 4/1 he will still be manager on 1st June.
Nice spread for the bookies but clearly they see him gone.

What's that little ditty on the t-shirts....something like...

Manchester United, hated, adored but never ignored.

Too true by the looks of all the ABU's having a giggle.

Moyes has been given enough time, 2 mangers in 30 years and all of a sudden we just like all other fans? bks. He tried to succeed a Legend of the game and failed. No point prolonging the inevitable now. Not been easy for Barca this season post Pep has it?

As for no one wanting the job. Utter ste. Like it or not United is still the biggest club in world football outside of The Spanish two. Up to our eyes balls in debt? Not anymore if you review recent figures and we still have plenty of revenue commercially to come to cover a season without champions league.

We'll never die!

Speculation that he'll be gone tonight once NYSE closes.
That's 9pm BST so we'll see.

If anyone needs anymore convincing check out Eamonn Holmes timeline on Twitter, he is very good mates with SAF, seems we just need to wait for the NYSE to close so we can announce it. So between 9pm tonight and 2:30pm tomorrow.

For me if we cannot get Klopp then I think Van Gaal is the obvious choice, RvP loves him and he obviously wants the job. Get some Utd old boys in the coaching staff and get the club back on track

I'd imagine the delay is because they are negotiating exit terms and press statements etc

I very much doubt Moyes contract/performance clauses will have foreseen this. Moyes was leaving a job where he was very secure so I doubt he'll have clauses enabling his exit within a year. Think back to the recruitment process....there basically wasn't one....I can easily see a board that appointed a manager like that giving a lax contract....the fact Utd gave an unusually long contract of six years points to that too.

Nope. It was pretty much a done deal before the Bayern games. Timing and who will replace him were the 2 undecided points.
