Mickk, you beat me to it.
I get the feeling that Fazio won a season in the EPL from some confectionary wrapper competition on the continent. I have rarely (although not never) been so disturbed by a Spurs player's performance.
Kaboom and Fazio were so awful they drew Mason and Capoue onto their toes leaving us without a centre mid, and where on earth Andros, Eriksen and Chadli were in the first half only Carling Opta will ever know.
The only good thing about our first half was that I was blinded by the low sun so much that I missed a lot of our stness.
Lloris had no chance with either goal, I actually thought Rose did alright considering he is at least a foot shorter than the stoke average player and was singled out as a weakness from the start with relentless long balls heading to our LB position, he had no support from the left side of midfield as we haven't got one.
Naughton was average and deserved a red but it was yet another backwards throw in that put him in a position where he had no choice but to chop their fella down.
Kane had a couple of chances, the one within a few minutes looked like a stunning save, but I've not been able to bring myself to watch any 'highlights' yet.
For me Dembele is too slow, Lamela I like but possibly only as I'm desperate for him to work out.
Despite them all being relatively cheap I think the stand out players for not being utter turd today were English. Maybe we should do something radical like buy some decent English men. I watched that hairy chap upfront for QPR last night and wondered what life would be like with Charlie Austin in the squad instead of Adebayor, or heaven forbid Welbeck, hell I'd settle for a Shane Long.
Would it seem so bad if we had say a Caulker still learning his trade at CB.
One of the worst decisions of the season has to be making Kaboom skipper. He has clearly based his game on Dawson!

We are in trouble I fear. We seem to have a combo of average players who are playing for a manger who doesn't want them. And the pressure of that situation and results is forcing the manager into selection errors.
Firstly you cannot play Fazio over Vertonghen. The gulf in quality between the two of them is massive. Fazio is too slow and cumbersome.
Capoue is not doing his job in midfield. No where near enough tackles or interceptions. Players are free to run straight through our midfield. I would prefer Stambouli to him.
Kane is not the answer. He is a decent squad player but starting him up front alone is ridiculous. Soldado should be playing.
The problem with Eriksen is summed up here: http://thepremierleagueowl.com/tottenhams-christia...
