Etienne Capoue and Benjamin Stambouli appear to be signing for Watford.
We seem to be having a bit of a clear out.
It's a decent start, but a few of the older crowd still need shipping or I think they'll become a pain in the arse.We seem to be having a bit of a clear out.
Not fussed about Capoue but a bit surprised about Stambouli. Seemed to do ok when called on and got better the longer he was around. Seemed a useful squad player.

We have reached agreement with Watford for the transfer of Etienne Capoue.
Signed from Toulouse in August, 2013, Etienne made 36 appearances for the Club in all competitions, scoring two goals.
We wish Etienne all the best for the future.

Thought it was going to be Toby then! (if we sign him I can see us just calling him Toby to save the issue of spelling/pronunciation!)
Thought Southampton was his destination.Southampton had an option to buy for a smallish fee following last seasons loan
Madrid could pay Southampton a couple million to buy out the option
Spurs seem to be front runners to sign and happy to pay the larger fee he's now worth
Agreement seems to be close by all parties
BUT
Madrid may not have paid Southampton the money in time so could be a legal challenge of some kind

Our 'accountant across the water' alerted me to some interesting stuff concerning the new stadium, planning permission applications, increased capacity, the NFL and a roll in, artificial pitch.
Interesting times.
