WIth an air temperature of 31 degrees plus and a stadium built to resemble a glass house with no air flow, England will do well to not run out of steam against a team from the equatorial region that is Panama.
Supposed to be a bloody winter sport FFS.
We will be three nil up before we even get a sweat on. Supposed to be a bloody winter sport FFS.
So Sterling starts.
WT actual F!
I keep reading stuff that they have to dance around issues with him and don't want to affect his fragile confidence if he isn't picked.
I don't give a st. Outcome is all I care about and if being dropped means he goes and cries in a cave for the rest of his life, then he's in the wrong game.

There are players that almost NEVER play well for England, however good their club form. Sterling is one such player.
I think it's because he can only function when Pep tells him exactly what to do. Southgate treats him like a (fragile) adult. Mistake.
Rashford to come on as Sterling's replacement, and score the winner in a 1-0 win, is my prediction.

Sapping heat, getting tired towards the end....and then you see Rashford come on. If I was a Panama full back I would feign injury rather than face a fresh speed demon coming at me!I think it's because he can only function when Pep tells him exactly what to do.
