El Classico Tickets
Discussion
If you want atmosphere you could do a lot worse than try AIK vs Djurgården, it's the Stockholm derby. I went recently with my fiances brother and dad, the atmosphere was absolutely mental. Like smoke bombs and people with megaphones getting the crowd going mental. I will be going to IFK Göteborg vs GAIS next season with them, as that's a lot closer to home, it's also supposed to be insane.

How did you get on with this OP?
I'm going to Madrid for the El Classico at the end of November for a friend's 40th. The only option I know of to get tickets seems to be Viagogo, and they are around £350 each. I don't mind paying that as it's a one-off, but does anyone know of any other options? Is Viagogo safe? We need 3 tickets.
Any other tips on enjoying the rest of the weekend? We'll be there from Friday morning until Monday.
Cheers
We managed to get tickets off a travel agent friend in the end which worked well, though not cheap. The game was pretty good, and the atmosphere was amazing. I believe Viagogo is safe, but I've never used it, and you're dealing with regular people, not a company, so it's a bit less secure. I think Viagogo refund you if anything goes wrong but obviously you've got flights and accommodation to think about as well. We went to the game in Barcelona, not Madrid, and I haven't been to Madrid so can't help you on that front, but for Spain in general don't be a typical Brit and eat burger and chips, if you can find a tapas place with no Brits in it you've probably found a good place. Also, allow a lot of time to get to the game, the streets clog up and it took us probably 40 mins just to hail down a taxi that didn't have someone in it.
Good luck.
Flights - £90
Accomodation - £100 each for 3 nights
Match Tickets - £370 each

Trust me, this is on another level to anything. I was beyond sceptical when we were on our way, I've done away end at Stamford Bridge and The New Den as a West Ham fan. The atmosphere at this match made anything I've been to seem like a tea party.
By all accounts Boca Juniors v River Plate is the one to see. 70 deaths since the year 2000. Red Star Belgrade v Partizan is meant to be a bit tense also.ArsE92 said:
