We have an over reliance on Solanke
We're also trying to stroke the ball into the net but on the whole its pretty timid and turgid stuff. Fulham fans warned us about 'parker ball' and didn't we laugh...not now as it appears to be coming to fruition.
We cant blame Injuries as we have a healthy squad . Billing seems to play when he feels like it, our midfield is mainly defensive, Christie couldn't hit a barn door in a hurricane despite being able to turn on a sixpence. Lowe is always isolated, in short Dom needs help up front.
Parker apparently is a three year project, one that is rapidly going backwards.

Fantastic news, a proper talent.

Hoping you stay up this year. I've had a soft spot for Bournemouth for a while. I was the OP of this thread 7 years ago when Newcastle were relegated. I was praising the work of Eddie Howe and looking forward to at least having someone to cheer on in the Premier League. How times change!

Worried by the lack of transfer action so far…
But you have signed Super Joe Rothwell? A player who will run down his contract and leave, but a great player on his day, but for Blackburn that day didn’t seem to be any time in 2022!Hope he works out better than Connor Mahoney.
We could do with a CB, hopefully we can sort a deal for Nat Phillips and get him back. I see we're favourites for go straight back down, no shock there. It wouldn't be the end of the world as long as the off field investment continues now the work on the new training facility / Academy at Canford has restarted. It would also be nice to expand the ground somewhat but can understand the reticence since we only own a small chunk of it and the landowner has us over a barrel. Anyway bring on the Villa !
