Wenger out still?
On basis of his appalling performance over the past 8-10 years - Yes!It's going to take an awful lot more than a couple of decent results to change my view. However, tonight he deserves recognition for an excellent team performance and result. A job well done.

Xhaka seems pretty good. Great performance tonight
He's class. And for once he's being given a chance to work his way into the team. Think it's a question of which one or two players become his regular partners rather than say Santi and Le Coq being one pair and Ramsey and Xhaka being the other. Sanchez up front with that three behind him is starting to look very interesting.....loads of pace and movement with Sanchez and Theo, Iwobi seems to keep the game playing at a high tempo like Rosicky did and Ozil able to spot and pass the ball like nobody else in the PL.

Xhaka's range of passing and speed from the back was impressive. An exciting prospect indeed. Loved the crowd baying him on to shoot though. And he finally does and skies it. Hopefully Wenger won't stop him from those shots.Sanchez up front with that three behind him is starting to look very interesting.....loads of pace and movement with Sanchez and Theo, Iwobi seems to keep the game playing at a high tempo like Rosicky did and Ozil able to spot and pass the ball like nobody else in the PL.
Mustafi - based on what I've seen so far - looks like he has the makings to become an Arsenal great.
He was immense last night, and I hope he doesn't do a Vermaelen (I said the same thing about him after his first proper season in an Arsenal shirt).
What impressed me about Mustafi (as well as his defensive awareness) was how he applauded the team's every move. Leading from the back.
Xhaka just knits it all together; he was there to offer a pass option every time we had possession.
I'm liking the look of this team we now have.

Seaman in nets?
I also feel Hector still needs a couple of seasons to beat Lauren at RB, which he will undoubtedly do.
Well RB is an interesting one....Dixon, Sagna, Lauren and now Bellerin. Probably the best lineage of any position in the team. I just loved Lauren's attitude (not sure the opposition did!)....but Sagna is/was massively underrated, played in an era when we were an average team but he was so,so solid. And that headed goal to get us back in that game against Spurs was a great moment. I also feel Hector still needs a couple of seasons to beat Lauren at RB, which he will undoubtedly do.
Bellerin will almost certainly be the best. Voted best RB in the league last year by his fellow pro's and could be a genuine World Class player.

Yup it just suddenly seems to be working since half time against PSG. Mustafi was great against Chelsea too. Amazingly with BFG and Giroud effectively replaced by Iwobi and Mustafi we look like a much quicker team! We have a run of half a dozen games name which we should be looking to pick up 3 points in most of them. Potential to build some genuine momentum.
Even had the massive shock and very pleasant news of Coquelin's injury only being for two weeks

I'm surprised but the Ozil-Iwobi-Alexis-Walcott combination is proving very effective. With Giroud, Perez, Chamberlain and Welbeck when he returns we've got a considerable range of options in attack. It's very encouraging. We have a run of half a dozen games name which we should be looking to pick up 3 points in most of them. Potential to build some genuine momentum.

And it's not like Iwobi is the junior partner....I think the way he carries the ball forward and the incisive and accurate passes he plays are absolutely key. Amazing talent. Shame England didn't sign him up when Wenger told them to....NordicCrankShaft said:
Iwobi is absolutely fantastic. Love watching the boy play and if it wasn't for him I'd be a bit more envious of United with Rashford but we have our own little talents on the books.
I love watching "the kids" play....going to the Arsenal V Reading game for that specific reason. Tickets sodding cheap too....I have taken my mate's two season tickets for the game which cost a massive £23 for the pair. Looking forward to seeing "The Jeff".What a st goal to concede at the end there. You can forgive the hand ball shout..... But kozelney is off side ffs. He's in front of chamberlin when he kicks the ball (which would go wide if it weren't for kozelney standing in front of him and it hitting his arm and into the goal.
TERRIBLE decsion not to wipe it out from the officials.

It was handball though ... no idea why the ref didn't give it - unsighted I presume?
