Personally I think Ox is best in an advanced role behind the striker. He's too lightweight to play elsewhere and I hate it when he's pushed out wide.
There are few players I'd keep out of the current squad. The Ox, Sanchez, Welbeck, Koscielny, Belerin and that's it. The rest are welcome to leave I'm just not bothered.
I know it was only boro (a relegation battling boro) but I think he did alright as a wing nut tonight. There are few players I'd keep out of the current squad. The Ox, Sanchez, Welbeck, Koscielny, Belerin and that's it. The rest are welcome to leave I'm just not bothered.
I little more effort tonight, but still a poor display, only improvement being Ox and several others, even Ozil, busted a gut and we just about dragged ourself past the finishing post. God know what the score will be on Sunday if we play like that again... ive seen absolutely nothing of wtf Wenger was thinking about when paying £35m for Xhaka. He needs shipping out pronto, way out of his depth.

Sunday is going to be a critical match one way or another.Be interesting to see what team AW puts out, as with a home match against Leicester on the following Wednesday, followed by having to go to WHL the Sunday after, the next 7 days could be one of the most defining in the last decade or so.........

Absolutely,
I've gone from just wanting him out to now wanting him destroyed. I want the supporters and media to ruin him. I've never hated anyone in football the way I hate Wenger.
How bad is that? A man who was once a hero has now become a coward dictator who won't leave. He shows total contempt for the supporters and yet there are people who still idolise him.

He was mumbling on about mental strength again after the match. I really (I mean really) hate him and his post coitals these days but it's a kind of morbid fascination.

Which perspective are you speaking from then ? Have you had a skipload of LSD or a lobotomy ? delete as appropriate.
So if anyone doesn't agree they're mental or high? Well done.I was referring to some of the hate and vitriol spouted at Wenger. IMO that is madness, to get that worked up.
FWIW I think change is needed but the hate is OTT.

Sick of it

Apparently Wilshere fractured his leg vs Spurs. Does that mean his career is finished at Arsenal? Another injury setback cant be good for his career.
Tough when a talented player is so brittle and injury prone, but I think his lacklustre performances while on loan at the Cherries this season has probably contributed more to finishing his Arsenal career than another injury. The problem for Arsenal will be who will buy him........?I see The Sun have reported (so it must be true )
"Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger reportedly turned down the chance to sign midfielders N'Golo Kante, 26, who is now with league leaders Chelsea, and Thomas Lemar, 21, now with Monaco, for a combined £12.6m only two years ago".
If that's true it would certainly be further proof (if needed) that he's way past his sell by date.....

They've apparently offered Wilshere a new contract, or will be next week....he was an absolutely fantastic 18/19 year old but the injuries have definitely taken their toll sadly. Gutted to say it but not sure they should.
Perez has a long term injury.
If people like listening to Podcasts Arseblog had a certain Ian Wright on his "Arsecast" this week. Makes good listening...he's clearly not happy like the rest of us.

City all over us first half but grew into the game....Cech should have come and claimed the ball for the gall. Aguero too a heavy touch and Cech could definitely have got there. Played much better second half whilst definitely riding our luck on occasions. Forst time we've come from behind to beat a "Top 6" in 5 years or something daft.
I enjoyed that game much more knowing Spurs weren't in the final I don't mind admitting.
