This is a serious situation at the Emirates but still a minor incident compared to Ali's finger.

Arsenal only sold about 3,000 away tickets, they reckon at least 20,000 made the journey. Crazy.

Can't see this going ahead. According to people inside, there are Cologne fans all over the stadium and they are clambering over fences to get to the away end.

Videos on twitter, they're everywhere in your ground.. Surely it can't go ahead without segregation?

Cologne fans wearing Arsenal shirts to sneak into the Emirates.

Something Theo Walcott has been doing successfully for over a decade.

The game going ahead is the lesser of 2 evils I suppose. Imagine the hubbub if they had cancelled it!

Its the best the emirates has sounded though, in fairness. Should let them back each week.

It's a shame they weren't playing against Tottenham, at least the stadium would have looked almost full.

The number of visiting fans in among the home supporters was incredible/worrying. That said, many of them were out to watch a game (had bought merchandise from the shop etc) and generally enjoy the experience. A lot of Arsenal fans acted like dheads.

We left Wembley on Wednesday night surrounded by Dortmund fans , there wasn't even a hint of even being intimidated , they were bloody noisy but impeccably behaved , Surely this is what we all want when we go to watch a game,
I get the feeling that the World Cup next year will put following football back about 25 years . Bloody shame .

Typical pathetic sanitized modern arsenal fans.

The Koln fans did nothing wrong, all the idiots saying it should be called off/unsafe/intimidating, no it wasn't. I flogged my ticket (maybe to a German) but i spoke to a few who went and just said it was a typical German fan experience, supporting their team loudly and boisterously. no unsavory elements.

Yes they were diving over stewards to get with there mates but that was the only trouble bar the odd scuffle amongst themselves outside. no trouble with the arsenal fans, and most were very pleasant.

the modern emirates fan being intimidated/scared by this is a sad reflection of what our once great club has become. the same cretins who facilitate wenger still being in charge.

German fans are not toruble.

Spurs fans as anyone who has been to a WHL NLD knows are. Pathetic cowardly scum who target small groups and loan fans, and staty behind simply to intimidate and enjoy chasing groups of gooners, spitting at them, including women and kids (before anyone says its tot for tat this does not happen on anywhere near the same scale at emirates NLDs if at all). Classy

Funny how its usually Spurs fans who have trouble at European away games.

Of course there was no trouble at the game, everyone was supporting the same team.

I wouldn't say it's funny; more completely imagined in your mind, without any basis in reality.
