What's gone wrong with Walcott.. Should be in his absolute prime now, but seems to be getting worse
Been average for years, any normal manager of a top team would of offloaded him years ago.

Ah, the magic of the FA Cup. But why did Wenger put out such a weakened side? Very little insurance on the bench either when it started to go wrong.
He's a genius, that's why he gets £8.5 million a year.

Seems to happen to one of the top six sides every year. They put out a slightly weakened side and come up against a lower division team that pull confidence from thinking they can create an upset and enjoy some FA Cup magic.

Still no excuse from the players. It's their job to go out there and show why they play at a Premier League club!

You'd think that with the Premier League effectively gone and with the CL unrealistic at best for probably everyone but City, all the other teams would take the FA and Carabou/League Cup a bit more seriously though. Silverware is still silverware.

Never finished below Spurs, never not played in CL, never out of the FA Cup in 3rd round. All happened in matter of months now. If that's not an indication that a change is needed, then what is?

The title might be gone but you guys really need to get back into the top four this season otherwise the chatter about Arsenal being on the decline is only going to intensify. If Wenger focuses on the league and gets you into the top four at the end of the season, at least it could be seen as a blip. Miss out again and I'm not sure which players are going to want to join your club and I think you'll really struggle to for a few years to get back into the CL.

Forest had a younger inexperienced side, Arsenal had several recognized names & 7 were FA cup winners.

More talk of Wenger 'hand picking' his successor; this time: Mikel Arteta.

On a brighter note, here's Arteta's missus:

Serious question, do you think Wenger has been at Arsenal 4 - 2 long now?

Sorry.

Yep, but just like after the mauling at Old Trafford some years ago he would still 8-2 leave.

I'm sorry but Wenger put his trust in a lot of decent players but they didn't perform for him or the fans. The players involved who earn vast amounts of money should take full responsibility rather than Wenger taking the flack! Had he put out a stronger team & due to injury etc had to make several changes on Wednesday, would he have been thanked? No.

They're playing to his instructions. All this tiki-taka stuff looks great when you have control of the game...
