That's not incompetence, that's thinking they'd be doing enough to satisfy a legal clause in Suarez' contract.
yeah I know, but I think they negative PR did more damage than offering say £45M

Does that sound likely? Regardless of how incompetent you think Arsenal are, do you really think they'd up their offer by £900,000?
yes

And that one went brilliantly for us didn't it... another we could have signed if Arsene hadn't been such a monumental tight arse.

You could have offered £90m, we would never have sold to one of our direct rivals.

You're a selling club, its just how many ££ in the equation, direct rival or not

Barcelona had to sell Neymar - every club is a selling club, as you say its the £ that differs

I suspect Liverpool would rather have sold Suarez to Spain for 70 than Arsenal for 75 though

What a scumbag Wenger is. Another final the fraud!! BBOOOOOOOOO
Yes lets judge him on another meaningless cup competition against a basket case Chelsea...!

oh it appears you are a spurs fan so are completely impartial and are very qualified to comment on whats should be deemed success, what with your glorious history of being a big club and Middlesex's finest ever team....or you have nothing better to do of an evening than wum and arsenal thread!

have you forgotten the last 10 years! oh is that higuain i see having his medical still? no we are faffing around making derisory offers.

FSG have said numerous times we won't sell our best players to our direct PL rivals. Even when we sold Torres he was well past his best.

Sterling (in both senses) would suggest otherwise?

I don't think Sterling was one of our best players. One of our best prospects yes, but the summer we sold him came after a very average season for him.

Have you not been watching him this season ?

If this is it, I'm hearing Ozil will be joining Sanchez at Manyoo.

Auba deal agreed aparently. However Dortmund want to sign his replacement before they shake hands.

Arsenal getting a dose of their own medicine?
