'starting'??? I'm afraid he's been a liability for ages

I though Bellerin did a decent job today, he stopped a shed load of crosses from Son, he may not have done much going forward but then neither did anyone else, there were a lot bigger issue than him today.

I think Aubameyang was bought to boost Wenger's chances of wining the league cup.

Good as he is, after watching yesterdays game I suspect he’s wasted his money.

City play the same football as Spurs but are more ruthless in front of goal.

I think he was bought because it was a condition of Ozil signing his new contract. And for whoever is replaces Wenger next season...

Arseblog interviewed David Ornsetin ( BBC journo who is seemingly the clubs unofficial mouthpiece) at the end of the transfer w8ndow....according to him it was Mkhitaryan’s agent who put the Sanchez swap deal to Arsenal rather than Arsenal originating it.

Obie-wan has also said it was Micky T talking to him on the phone that persauded him to join Arsenal (they were teammates at BD for several years)

As good as Alexis is, I think the two coming in is probably better on balance...........going forward............but, we're still woeful at the back, but that's not AW's way. Could have been 3 or 4 nil loss yesterday easily.

I thought it was shocking when they said on MOTD that we have not won an away match against the other top 5 teams since Jan 2015......eek

Says a lot about our current situation, slipping further behind those 5 clubs in the table.

I have my fingers and toes crossed that the new staff additions are related to an incoming manager.

Staff as in players, or the others? don't know many Armenian or Gabonese managers laugh

Raul Sanllehi, Sven Mislintat and Huss Fahmy (in order of speculative thinking).

We truly are in a league of our own at the moment............5 points behind Chelski in 5th who have a game in hand meaning 8 if they win tonight and then we'll be 7 behind Spuds in 5th. And 9 points ahead of Burnley behind us. At the risk of stating the bleeding obvious it isn't going to get better any time soon either. rolleyes

While I know this rumour has been going around with seemingly little basis, and I know it’s not unusual for people who love football to go to big games...

.... but Carlo Ancelotti was at Wembley watching the game ears

Wenger gets a performance review this summer doesn’t he? I know he’s been there unchallenged in his position for twenty odd years, but 5th last season and ever increasingly looking like 6th this season is probably going to result in some proper changes. Especially if we don’t win the Europa, which is a distinct possibility.

I’d be very happy with that. I don’t hate Wenger, but it is time for a change. It’s a great shame that he could have left on the relative high of three FA cups in four years and now all he’s doing is ruining his legacy and turning the last loyal fans against him.

Fingers crossed even if he does win the League Cup and Europa (both doubtful imo) he still won’t be allowed to see out the final year of his contract. He could leave on a bit of a high.

He's quite public about it:

ETA: he was also at the Tot/Liv game

Ah, I meant the implied rumours that he will be our manager next season, rather than the fact he was at the game. As you point out, that fact comes from his own Twitter!

I'd still rather it was Allegri from Juventus..

Obviously going to Spurs then when Poch goes to Madrid in the summer.

Well that's a possibility - although I thought the current rumour was for Joachim Low as ZZ's replacement?
