I see Wheelchair is having a bleat on social media about the ref on Sunday..... if anyone thinks the first goal is a foul, then the game is dead, Kompany was onside for the second, Sane was not interfering with play imho..

Can't blame officials for an abject performance I'm afraid, much as I think Roy Keane is a complete tosser, I think he's called Wilshire correctly...

Who are you guys picking from Chelsea’$ current squad?
Hazzard surely, the goalie probably, Kante quite possibly.

Thursday's game is on general sale to red members. When was the last time any game against champions elect was on general sale?

Would any of the current Liverpool team get in an all-time top 20 Liverpool squad (Coutinho might of, and if Faminio & Salah continue like they are for another 3-4 seasons they will), but right now......??

The other 4 teams, definately though.
Depends whether you're picking your 20 based on a game tomorrow or your squad for the next few seasons. It's also tricky because the game has changed over the decades, we've not had 20 more skilful players than Salah, but 30-40 years ago he'd have been useless, kicked all over the park. And he would never have been able to develop that skill then anyway, so you then have to think about which players from that era would have been better than Salah in the modern era? No idea.

Any, back on topic, I heard yous were ste at the weekend?

Interesting question

Liverpool and an "all time top 20?" Zero now and Coutinho is debatable

Utd - none, DDG is brilliant but everyone would pick Schmeichel

Chelsea - Hazard, everyone would pick Cech over Courtois, perhaps Makelele over Kante

Arsenal - agreed, none, not even close

City - everyone smile

Spurs - they were never on my radar as a kid so don't have the knowledge to comment, but judging by their attitude - all of them twice over and the manager and the shiny stadium

Kane might make the bench, no one else would be even close.

If the fans boycotted Arsenal home games back when it first came apparent that Wenger wasn't the man for the job (i.e when Arsenal lost 8-2 to Manchester United and he did a bit of panic buying in that September) the whole issue would have been sorted long ago and this coming Thursday's game might of been a top of the table clash. On Arsenal TV the same blokes are moaning after every match, the only time something might change at Arsenal is if the board feel it in their pocket, so by fans turning up at the Emirates every other week during the season is only prolonging Wenger's stay and who knows we might of seen the back of Kronke by now if the revenue was down.
Someone pointed to another article in the paper about Wenger moaning that the big money in football was killing the game, what a fking hypocrite when he's getting £8.5 million a year.
The only thing I disagree with what Ian Wright said is why wait to the end of the season before he goes, why can't he go now????

The bitterness is shining through here laugh

Actually the answer would probably be none. amongst the undoubted dross weve had some amazing players at Tottenham just not many of them at the same time laugh

The annual cup win hasn't yet happened to paper over the cracks.

Wouldn't surprise to see Arsenal win the Europa League and Wenger to justify his role off the back of it.

There’s no maybe about it.
He’s often not even the best goalie on the subs bench.

Ironically, Thursday may be a tough match if Arsenal feel like they need to show some pride, Wenger ought to get that picture of the crying kid and put it up in the changing room.

Probably be a higher score than Sunday though wink

Not a chance. I'll be stunned if we beat Milan over two legs.

eh? why would I be bitter that Spurs have had no period of past dominance (in my lifetime) that would mean it is much harder to pick current players in an all time best list?

You don't need to have a dominate team to have great players.

Presumbaly you remember this bloke?

Wheelchair harping on about they were hard done by in the final. Do they ever watch highlights of games and listen to the pundits? He should be embarrassed at some of his comments, foul fr the first goal etc - ffs.

It was this bit that gave it away

And of course you dont need a period of dominance, to know the likes of Klinsman, Hoddle, waddle, gazza, ardiles, macay, Blanchflower, Perryman etc etc would all walk into this current spurs team

that was just a light piss take at your current Spurs tinted glasses, silly of me admittedly

that was just it - no offence but I was struggling to think of many (unlike say Utd where I can remember a lot of their successful team because they were prominent, winning trebles etc)

I did recall Gazza, Hoddle and Ardiles, wasn't sure how much impact Klinsman had, Blanchflower I woudl have to google

Can't argue with any of that.

"Not that Arsenal should not sack Arsène Wenger. Probably they should sack him twice to make sure. Or best of all go back in time and sack him two years ago, bring him and sack him again now just to make the point."

hehe

AW as we know, is only part of the problem, as pointed out in that article, and as the owner isn't going anywhere while the club stays in its present financial position, I'm not convinced any change in manager/coaching staff is going to make a significant difference.

But, a start needs to be made somewhere.
