good punchy journalism that

"Granit Xhaka would be an odd presence in any Premier League midfield, a paradox of a player who can look absolutely miles off the pace one moment and only a few miles off the pace the next."

hehe

that was just it - no offence but I was struggling to think of many (unlike say Utd where I can remember a lot of their successful team because they were prominent, winning trebles etc)

I did recall Gazza, Hoddle and Ardiles, wasn't sure how much impact Klinsman had, Blanchflower I woudl have to google
None taken.

You should remember Klinsman though his goal at Anfield knocked you out of the cup laugh

blanked it out, remember you getting tonked 4-1 by Everton in the semi smile

not sure a player who was there for 1 season can be in your all star line up though?

On a slightly lighter note that massive Nasri has been banned for an anti doping violation and had his contract with Antalyaspor terminated, there is a god after all. laugh

Good share... I oddly enjoyed that in a masochistic way

That's a great line.

I gave up the fight last summer. I've barely seen any Arsenal footage either live or on MOTD all season. My passion and enthusiasm for Arsenal has been eroded and utterly destroyed by the despot that is Wenger and the weak and spineless cronies in the boardroom.

I started following and going to watch St Albans City in the National League South with my cousin who lives in St Albans. I'm thoroughly enjoying football once again and look forward to matchdays. My only regret is I didn't do it years ago!

Yep, we've not been much at all this season, although my boys have done a few away-days with mates - more for a day out than anything else. Didn't bother with Wembley, either, despite access to tickets.

Saturdays now often spent watching Bishops Stortford, now of the Southern Premier League after relegation from the National South last year. Much more fun, and something refreshing about enjoying a pint whist pitch-side watching the footy.

Looking rather empty tonight. I suppose the weather didn't help attendance either.

Genuinely not here to gloat. Do you think Wenger can survive this week's performances?

Would the board dare to sack him?

This must be the night Wenger gets the sack.

Just thinking similar - is there actually a level that could be stopped too that would cause wenger to get the sack?

I think he'll be given the option to resign.

The only thing that might save him is we're getting reamed in exactly the same way we've done to others over the years, city have simply been on another planet.

No clean sheet in ten PL games apparently; looking a bit shabby (no offence).

I can only assume the Gooners think it's illegal to cross the thin blue line.

Even some of the biggest Wenger supporters I know now acknowledge its time for change. Says it all sadly.
