We're going to beat you lot tonight.
So long as we go out and show the same desire and commitment as we did at the weekend then i'll be happy if we come away with a point. Our league performances at OT have been amongst the worst we've produced in recent years.

I'm quietly stting myself here.

I don't think we've ever needed to win a game of football as much as we do tonight. Old Trafford needs a positive vibe to come back, it's been shocking this season, other than Newcastle really. Now I know what it feels to be Arsenal (under Wenger)!

To be completely honest I don't fancy our chances so maybe we will win. I've been optimistic at all the other games I've attended this season to no avail.

I'm quietly confident but I also know how these situations normally pan out, we've not won at old Trafford in a very long time and the last time we played an injury ravaged United side like this we were expected to win and Rashfords announced himself on the scene.

I wouldn't be surprised if most of the game is played in United's half, and ends in a bore draw.

Let's hope Auba and Laca have plenty to say about that.

I recon we're going to be pretty leggy after Sundays exertions so not expecting too much tonight, a win would be great purely for making Maureen's life a bit more miserable, but keeping the unbeaten run going is important for morale.

Ugh, these bds.

Holding off on a stretcher, not good news at all. I don't have a good feeling about this game, though I hope to proved wrong.

No Ozil either, again, but we are playing Ramsey? Maybe we'll get rid of Ozil and offer a better contract?

shocker by DDG, shocker from Iwobi who just watches the ball rather than knocking out for a corner

nicely poised for the neutral

This last 20 could be a belter of a match. Hopefully.

Not sure why Lacazette;s goal was disallowed ,

That should have been a goal.

It sort of petered out in the end. The way we played a few days ago and with Utd's form it feels like two points dropped to me, but I guess in most other years a draw at Old Trafford would be considered an okay result.

I thought so too. There's nothing wrong with getting the ball out of the keepers hands I thought, as long as you don't foul them.

That was a rough old game, much as expected, comedy defending by both and a draw about right in the end. Let’s hope Holding isn’t too serious.

Doesn’t the keeper have to release the ball first? So it could have been an inch out of his hands and that would have counted?

I always thought the rule was that the keeper should have both hands on the ball.

Goal for me should have stood , not that i'm complaining though.

They’ve just gone over it on BT, apparently the rules have changed, the goalie has to have completely released the ball for it to be in play. You can’t knock it out of their clutch no matter how little.

I've seen traffic lights stay red longer than North London.

grumpy

Worse, if all goes as expected then I don't see how we can get above you before the end of the year, you have some soft games and we have to travel to Anfield.
