I think in some big rivalry games the allocation is reduced somewhat for away fans, similar happened against Spurs a few years ago at the Emirates.
They'll be particularly cautious tonight because it's a late kick off, so there's plenty of time for alcohol to be consumed meaning potential for trouble amongst fans before/after the game.
Hardly a big rivalry, Spurs I understand but Man U aren't much of a rivalry since both of us turned crap and they’re 200 miles up the road, even if most of their fans are fairly local to us.

looks like a near full strength starting 11 for us against Man United. i fancy our chances.

i would not worry about united fans, never seen or heard any bother from them. quite the opposite, always happy to engage and chat.

man city fans on the other hand are a totally different kettle of fish.

People from Surrey and Sussex are less rough than people from Manchester. Who knew?

ramsey vs pogba = comparison settled.

as discussed earlier in thread, our strikers are doing the business but you can’t expect to win anything if you leak 2-3 goals per game.

Indeed - how much did you pay for him? £90M if you'd paid 10% of that you would have still paid too much. A very ordinary player.

Pretty certain he’s an Arsenal fan too. I’m not sure what his point is though, I thought Ramsey played well for us in parts, but then vanished d when we really needed him. He was unlucky with that header at the start of the second half. Pogba looked very good for them with his work rate. He came alive in the second half too as we tired and he scared me every time he went on one of those leggy runs.

Re game last night. I'm a bit torn. If the remit was to 'have a go but don't kill yourselves', fine; although we lost both our defenders to injury so maybe not.

If the instruction was to try and win the game I felt we lacked the desire to do so. We conceded two goals in as many minutes and were still just jogging around ball watching. I didn't see the angry fight back I was hoping for; Laca showed it in parts but overall we just didn't look like we wanted it much. In parts it was the same old Arsenal trying to be too clever with the passing (Maitland-Niles did well as a defender putting some decent tackles in but his possession/passing/releasing put us in trouble a few times).

With 10 minutes stoppage time going up on the board we didn't exactly go at them.

Ozil came on and played like a man who had nothing to prove. Really frustrating to watch.

9m for Pogba would have been too much? A very ordinary player? This is a player who pretty much glided past all of your midfielders today without breaking a sweat.

I thought United deserved to win, sat back, soaked up the pressure then broke very well. Rashford was good. I thought Ozil was actually going to come and prove something for once, but he didn't really change the game, although it's hard to when you've got United playing well and sitting back protecting a lead.

sorry re: pogba has to rush for a train when i typed it.

my point was that pogba continued to drive man united forward, great skill by Ramsey for the goal but over the 90 minutes Pogba pulled the strings. Is he worth £100m? In this market that’s the price you pay.

and Joe Willock in the sun today....dear oh deary me.

Pogba looked the business, and United likewise.

I was disappointed with Arsenal, even with the make shift defence. Seemed to lack the belief and fight to make a real game of it.

Update on Arsenal’s website, looks like Koscielny is only a soft tissue injury and not a broken jaw, which is good, not so good is Socratis out till the end of Feb with a fubarred ankle. So looks like we’re back to Kos and Mustafi at the back for a bit frown deep joy. Also looks like a fan had a go at Xhaka outside the stadium for being useless after the Man U game.

Silver lining, at least Spurs continue to fall apart and their season is more or less over.

Except for the fact that they're still a lot more likely to end up in the top four than we are currently, and neither of us are likely to win any trophies.

As much as I love a bit of Spurs bashing, it rings very hollow these days. Sure, they still haven't really won anything, but we don't look like winning anything major for (at least) the next few years either.
