Can't see that as a bonus, as that just means ruddy Liverpool now odds on to win the PL..........and to me that's on a parallel with Spurs winning it....mad
Ditto. The absolute worst case scenario.
Yep, absolute disaster, the last thing we need is them crowing again.

We’re starting to see the way forward.
It looked like a men V boys situation and then they turned up !!
But it’s Cardiff ffs let’s get real
Bonus = plastic Mancs losing
Edit: Fergie time. That old chestnut ??

fergie time was ridic. the ole bubble was about to burst as they were awful, and the realization that he isnt the messiah was about to become apparent. yes they on a run but they've played a load of crap, including us, simply because the players have picked up some of the tools they completely downed for maureen, doesn't mean OGS is a good manager. Look at how much talent there is there. realistically they should be top 2.

my fear is they appoint him full time, and whilst it will be funny to see them keep struggling (as he wouldn't last a season) i want them to nab poch and annoy our noisy neighbours!

this is a must win against Cardiff.

i will go for a 3-1 win for the Goons.
After 60 mins the most unlikely looking 3-1 ever, incredibly didn't finish 3-1!

Awful first hour.......
tough crowd on here today blimey - ok i was a single goal off i apologise.

decent result considering our problems at the back. two solid goals from our strikers (again) and a late consolation goal. our lads up front know where the back of the net is !

Yang now 2nd on the premier league board with 15 goals and 4 assists.

still proud of some of these individual performances.

onwards to man city.

For the record - i wasn't questioning your call on it finishing 3-1, it was just so awful that after an hour it was more likely to finish 0-0 despite the chances that had gone before.

I suspect that had you put monies on 3-1 at half time you could almost have picked your odds.

And Utd dropping their first point under OGS, as I was expecting them to be level with us by today the way they were going.

Not really, Spurs are kinda consolidating their position above you again.

Yeah right. Just about scraped a win in the last 10 minutes following a last minute winner against relegation fodder last time out in the PL. if anything you’re looking a bit shaky.

Entirely possible that after this weekend you'll be even further behind Spurs.

Unlike some, our seasons have never been measured by where our local 'rivals' finish in the league.

Even in our less successful periods like the last 10 years or so, we've had bigger fish to fry.

Spurs have been incredibly lucky, (not least in getting the diving son back completely unexpectedly early) they should have taken maximum of 2 points, and realistically 1 from their last 2 games, and we would have been right behind them again, yet we are crap, and they are supposedly amazing. They were awful last 2 games by their own fans admission.

their luck will run out. they cannot rely on idiotic game manage from the fulham keeper or watford dropping stupidly deep every time.

plenty of games left in the season for them to spurs it up, although they should still finish above us easily given how bad we are.

ps. very disappointing no winger coming in, according to ornstein (as it stands, which he always caveats his bold statements with), perisic is on another level and i would happily have had carrasco.

Transfer deadline day News just in, Gonzalo Higuains attempted transfer from Chelsea to League Two Bury has broken down over the reported demand that Chelsea wanted a £10.50 fee from Bury for the transfer to go through.

‘Bury manager Ryan Lowe was furious at the last minute collapse. ‘all we wanted was to sign the star of the film ‘Torrente 4: Lethal Crisis’ he would have been a superb third choice striker for us and at the last minute Chelsea tried to rob my pub money! my missus is furious!’

Higuains agent is now furiously pursuing last minute deals with Morcambe and Yeovil town purported to now be the most likely destinations for the 31 year old.’

Delighted with Suarez coming in as we are crying out for creativity on the pitch with "1000 flick" Ramsey leaving and Ozil clearly not fancied by Emery.

Whilst the defensive situation isn't good the bandwagon kicking seems a bit extreme for us not appearing to sign anyone. I get it that Bellerin and Holding are long term absentees but Sokratis will be back at the end of February and we have Monreal, Mustafi (admittedly a bomb scare), Kozcielny, Kolaseinac, Mavropanos, Jenkinson and (debatably) AMN also available.

If we were going to go out and sign a central defender then what message does that give to Mavropanos? I'd rather see him given a shout alongside Koz, for now, until Sokratis is back. Then we will know which one of them is best placed to partner him as he is arguably the best CB we have at the moment.

Don't get me wrong i'm not saying that we don't need replacements in the defensive department as we do, as Koz and Monreal are getting past it and Mustafi is just not up to it. I think there is a player in Jenkinson if someone is there to organise him to keep him focused as he seems to get too carried away playing too hard for the shirt at times. I just think the press battering is a bit OTT for now.

Random musings over..........
