As much as I love Ramsey helping us out with some key goals this season, part of me wishes he'd been really st and made his free transfer to Juventus seem not such a travesty.

I've been scathing of him occasionally in the past, but the reality is that we're not going to get another mid fielder of his quality without spunking big bucks.

Sooner have Troy Deeney or Maddison. It’s
no good having a player on the team who can’t be bothered to turn up for three quarters of the games.

I can see both sides, but through the history of football or any sport for that matter there will always be talent coming through that won’t cost megabucks to unearth.

Ramsey has gone missing on many occasions - like many of the first team to be fair - and in Wengers penultimate season, he was particularly disastrous in a central midfield role. But when he does well, he’s great to watch and he seems to connect on a level with Ozil that when they’re both firing, it’s superb football.

Getting rid of Sánchez was the best thing for Ramsey however. The two couldn’t hide their disdain for each other. Ramsey and Ozil playing the ball with alacrity is far better for the team than the tempo jumping by Sanchez which more often than not killed attacks by the rest of the front five.

Good luck to Ramsey in Turin. They’ll be another Ramsey quality player along one day, and maybe one that hits his peaks more often in a greater percentage of games.

I think Ramsey is playing better because he’s playing with more discipline/has been given a defined role by Emery. Under Wenger he seemed to have carte Blanche do do whatever the fk he wanted....as did Sanchez and Ozil. He’s a brilliant player, leaving head held high in my book. Hope he gets to score to the winning goal in the Europa Cup final...he deserves it.

A test of character & Bottle.

We'll see who turns up tonight !

That Everton performance was like watching a Wenger team from the last 3 years of his tenure !

Has potential to be an absolute stinker this one, Watford aren't a bad outfit at all. They tend to play well against us, Troy Deeney tends to raise his game against us too.

It's a must win really...

Worried about what Deulofeu might do against our defense..........!

Deeney is on fire at the moment.

Tenacious, strong, stays on his feet, can move fast with the ball through the centre of the field, knows where the net is.

He is going to be a right handful.

He'll steam roller Mustafi if (god forbid) he plays for any reason.

Pretty sure he’ll play seeing as Sokratis is banned for the next two games for 10 yellows. He’s the only of our defenders physically big enough to deal with Deeney. Perhaps they might give Mavrapanos a run out? I hope we stick a full strength team out tonight. Also be interesting to see if Koscielny plays as he looked to be struggling at the end of the Napoli game.

Interesting Napoli fact.

Friend of my Mrs does the bar @ Verona Hellas. WHen Napoli come to town they have to close the rear doors with bolts on, to stop them robbing the place blind.

Feeling a bit sectarian today.

I remember reading a few articles on what it’s like to visit Napoli as a visiting fan. Not pleasant. Didn’t go last week but went to the game in 2013 when there fans turned over Piebury Corner leaving a few people in hospital.

I think tonight’s game is totally pivotal to Top 4 finish...another lame away performance tonight and I think that’s it. It’s not just about what our team’s mental approach is like...we need opposition teams to think they’re going to have to feel under pressure when they play his at home. Leicester and Wolves will be loving it if we get turned over again,
