full credit to Wolves, we need to start picking apart the best players from teams like this in the transfer window.
No, we need to have a more effective scouting/recruitment system that identifies them and picks them up cheap BEFORE they sign for teams like Wolves!
Or even better make better use of our own bloody academy/youth system!

Kronke isn't going to spend big money, as he's not interested, so its up to the club to find new talent from within or scout it out when its young and cheap and then develop it.
I'm yet to be convinced the club has the system in place to do that effectively.

Given Sven has already left the club........that link is rather pointless!
I think it rather shows that the club have acknowledged the potentially of analytics but are unwilling to adopted them as a significant part of the decision making process. The culture of the clubs needs to change but that difficult for most organisations.
Analytics aside, I think to sum it up, we're just a bit st at the moment, and nobody really knows what to do about it.
Understanding why there's a problem and implementing a strategy is a job for the Director of Football. So next step is to employ a DoF and ensure he's got the power to implement his strategy.

But there is clearly a problem with that power (or lack of) and/or the system in the club, as everytime a name is mentioned as being about take up the post, they've all then been announced at positions at other clubs.......... scratchchin

Hammers doing us a favour today, really need to grind out a result against Leicester tomorrow especially with the Man U/Chelsea game.

We didn't take advantage of the last two times Spurs dropped points, I have very very little hope this time will be any different. We're not even in a position to overtake them anymore because we're so fking st away from home.

Frankly no team wants third or fourth... If there were more games left I would have put money on wolves to do it instead!

looks like a 4-3-3 with Iwobi, Yang and Laca.

plenty of options up front but the problem will be getting the ball to them. looks like Leicester are dominating possession so far. I won’t be surprised of Guen pops up at half time if this continues.

Leno did a good job there with the saves. It feels like it's only a matter of time though, Leicester could already be a goal up with better decision making.

Thought those two fouls deserved a yellow in total not one each

Very torn about that. On the one hand, I don't think either of the fouls were yellows. Maybe, maybe the second one was. At a push.

But, on the other hand, if you have been given a card you can't dive in on someone like that, no matter how unreasonable the first card was or wasn't.

First yellow was harsh, you're very unlucky to be down to 10. We've been all over you so far!

Can't argue with any of that.

Mika's playing like he needs a blood transfusion, which isn't helping.

Ha thought the reverse actually, first was (more blocking the break than a nasty foul, professional yellow). Didn’t think there was much in the second and Maddison faked the scream and leg clutching nonsense.

Yeah, my bad, I got them mixed up in my head. When half time replays were shown I realised I'd got it wrong. Whoops.

Still shouldn't have been two yellows, but what can ya do?

Edit: fk it, I'm switching off. The PL App will tell me if I need to be any more miserable.
