I’d imagine they will be celebrating that.

Mustafi, Xhaka and Elneny are also Muslim, and I imagine at least one of those will be playing and in the squad.

Guessing It will be the recent attempted targeted car jacking - obviously still some sort of threat to the them and/or their families.

My reaction too, I think they’re making a rod for their own backs (both the players and the club) by not playing. If a club the scale of Arsenal can’t sort security for two families for a day while they’re at the game I don’t know what state this country is getting to (or has already got to). It would appear from the reports Ozil has his own security anyway.

My reaction too, I think they’re making a rod for their own backs (both the players and the club) by not playing. If a club the scale of Arsenal can’t sort security for two families for a day while they’re at the game I don’t know what state this country is getting to (or has already got to). It would appear from the reports Ozil has his own security anyway.

Has to be more to it than is being reported, and the reason I think that is because it involves Kolasinac too. I'd believe that Ozil might make a mountain out of a molehill, but Kolasinac too? Has to be more to it.

Injuries, new singnings 'not ready'. Bench is about as stacked as it's ever been for us.

This is Willock's and Nelson's chance, as far as I can see. They've had a good pre-season, and they've been rewarded with a place in the starting 11. Don't throw it away lads.

I think Willock has been okay, Nelson less so.

Mhki is st. that was a god damn open goal nearly, with his wages he HAS to at least hit the target. Been toothless so far.

Youngsters have done OK but the rest has been dire, new energy needed, let’s hope we see some of the new boys for a few minutes at least.

Not the greatest game today but a win is a win and a clean sheet as well . Looking forward to pepe in the team. I noticed a couple of clever runs from him when he came on. Expected a little more from Nelson but he has bags of potential
