Strange appointment given the position of the club. I think they needed someone with a lot of experience.
I just can't see Arteta as a manager.
This and eternity.I just can't see Arteta as a manager.
Why people can’t see this is beyond me.
Let’s try another experiment when we’re in freefall ??

Bellerin, yes, but still needs to prove himself after major injury, been poor since he came back.
Sokratis yes, but has been shaky after a good season with Koscielny last year.
Holding, yes but needs a good run without injury.
Mustafi, for all his faults has looked ok when played with Holding
Luiz, play him as a DM, he’s a liability as a CB, he’s great going forwards.
Chambers, he’s worked hard this season but he’s a squad player at best, keep him if possible as the attitude is right if not a lot else
Tank (kola) I want to like him but ducking shots in the box? isn’t quite as hard as he likes to make out.
Mesut, thanks, but see ya
Xhaka, I think he’s half decent, no world beater, but doesn’t suit the way we’re playing at the moment
It's grim, Bellerin and Ozil now part time politicians.Sokratis yes, but has been shaky after a good season with Koscielny last year.

Good luck Arteta, your fking need it.
Our reputation reduced to cannon fodder; the media have plenty to go on us and the club aren't bothered (does Durham still do the Daily Arsenal on TS?).
Latest on the official announcement is that the deal is being held up as the two clubs are negotiating compo.
It's embarrassing that as a club we can't seem to do anything ahead of the speculation which goes on and on and on...

In contrast to Levy who actually has an interest in football and trying to move his club forward.Latest on the official announcement is that the deal is being held up as the two clubs are negotiating compo.

"Arteta woooahhhhhh Arteta woooahhhhhh

Arteta woooahhhhhh Arteta woooahhhhhh
He'll have Ozil sulkin in his chair
Arteta woooahhhhhh Arteta woooahhhhhh
He'll take us to the championship, cos he's st and Kroenke is a "
3.5 years and we no doubt paid Citech a couple million...
To be fair to Arteta he was at the Arsenal v Citeh match and saw how st we are, yet still want to manage this shower, not sure if that makes him brave or stupid.
Bored of all the fan bashing tbh, it's our fault that the Board cashed in and sold out to a real estate baron with a record of not giving a flying fk, our fault we didn't get Wenger out when still in the champs league, it's our fault we missed out on the managers that could have brought some steel into the squad, it's our fault that our recruitment guru got fked off and left, it's out fault Emery had the communication skills of Manuel in Fawlty Towers, it's our fault that we get fked off with players dawdling getting off the pitch when subbed, and our fault the season ticket prices are so high.
If expecting players to put in a shift when in the privileged position of being "professional" footballers is being a "toxic fan", then tickle me pink and dip me in toxic waste ala RoboCop!
Merry ybksing Christmas
I maybe slightly smashed at the Chelsea match

This isn't meant to be a snide remark but.... It says a lot about Arsenal that Ancelotti is looking likely to end up at Everton and you've ended up with Arteta.
Hard to believe where you are right now.
It just smacks of lacking ambition really, which is Arsenal in modern times. Hard to believe where you are right now.
I sincerely hope Arteta can deliver and get some good results, it would be a fantastic story, but I'm not holding out much hope. He's not going to get much time if the bad run of results isn't turned round really quickly. Another 3 or 4 losses in quick succession and we'll be in need of an Allardyce.

If he can get this lot motivated he's got my support.
The Arsenal crowd is always divided. When things aren't going right they're quick to jump on the manager's back when really they should, a) be supporting him and b) it's the owners that are the real problem. Freddie's first game at home and the crowd were booing at half time. That's not support. Then again, for every real supporter who CBA anymore, there are a thousand tourists ready to jump into his seat and spend the game taking selfies.

I seriously hope Arteta is the next Pep/Klopp but I still feel its way too early for him, so heaven knows where we'll be by the end of the season....
