I hate to 'jump the gun', but there were so many positives yesterday that I can't help but think we've turned a corner.

The only sour part of yesterday was Spuds getting a late winner. :s:

Terrible first half, think they were all still in Dubai, better secondhand half. Hope we start better against Olympiacos

From the Mirror;

"French midfielder Matteo Guendouzi, 20, is facing a fight to save his Arsenal career after he was left out of the squad for Sunday's match against Newcastle United"

From Goal;

"Guendouzi was dropped following a heated row with Gunners boss Mikel Arteta and members of his coaching staff during a mid-season training camp in Dubai."

"The row started when Guendouzi refused to pass the ball to members of the same team instead, choosing to pass the ball continually to members of the opposing team, against his managers orders...."

"its what I do... game in, game out, I cant change my approach for any manager, it's how i play......" - Guendouzi said to Goal Magazine.

That is me being positive, the delights of being a season ticket holder, the likes of Olympiacos and even Everton have got more about them than that dour Newcastle team (who still should've scored at least 1 or 2 if they didn't have strikers that couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo).

Ian Wright was on Desert Island Discs last weekend...not my normal listening but saw a post on Twitter about it. It’s emotional and powerful stuff....a great man as well as a great footballer.

Saka is about the only player worthy of the shirt currently, man of the match again for me, midfield shocking, Laca couldn’t hit a barn door with a banjo, until he got one sat on a plate for him, again supplied by the only player showing any quality. Still the record will show a win, and a messy win is a win.

Was this display an act of solidarity in support of Guendouzi? We kept giving them the ball, FFS.
