Another decent first half then again letting the opposition have more of the ball in the second half.
This tactic works if we are a few ahead from the first half, then sit back and hit them on the break.
Playing like this when 1 ahead with the players we have, almost guarantees an equaliser as we are still prone to sloppiness and a couple mistakes.
Got out of jail this game and hopefully the players can get up to speed for a full 90 mins.
At least we are through but still need a lot of work to be done.

also WTF;"It might be especially galling for Saliba when it comes on the same day that Arsenal have reportedly agreed to let Henrikh Mkhitaryan cancel his contract and join Roma on a free transfer.
This is a player Roma offered £10m for in January, a bid we turned down, and while the focus was getting his £200,000 a week wages off the books, it’s still money we’ve written off to the benefit of Roma, Mkhitaryan and his agent more than us."

Bizarre about Saliba....who knows what’s happened. I guess Arsenal are after more money.
Don’t really see what the surprise is about Mikhi....times are tough, players aren’t worth what they were and we’d probably have to pay him to go if he came back with a £200k salary. Or maybe it’s part of some wider deal with his agent.
In better news David Ornstein reporting that Saka is about to sign a contract. This is excellent news !!!!

Err, so why not have banked the £10m offered for him in January then.....if we didn't want him? Now, we've got nothing out of it.

Both parties cancelling a contract may have been the best settlement, theres another 10mill in the budget now for new player wages.

Uh oh, the Dreamteam of Mustafi and Sideshow playing tonight, inbound comedy defending impending,..
We can but hope. We've had a couple of lucky/ugly wins now, I really hope we can manage to put in some kind of performance as well as get a result. NLD isn't so far away and we're going to need all the momentum we can get for that.
As an Arsenal fan, it's the hope that kills you.....
